My rheumatologist put me on intravenous methotrexate because of nausea from the oral form. Although I have used it every week for several years, I am unaware of any relief from it. My last trip to my cardiologist showed liver damage, most likely caused by medications, even though I do NOT consume any alcohol!!! Next Tuesday, January 27, I will see Steve, one of my rheumatologist's PA whom I see most often, and will ask him about whether or not I should continue taking it [with 5 mg. folic acid each day except when I take my methotrexate.]Read More Read Less
