The cream is good, BUT!! You can’t get the last inch of cream from the bottle, so i have to get a sharp knife or saw to cut the bottle to get to the last of it, which is quite a lot. This is a waste!! Bad design.

PRO: I have Aquagenic Pruritus and this is the ONLY lotion I have found that will stop the maddening itch if water splashes on any part of my upper body that I happened to have missed when I coated myself with Babyoil. CON: It STINKS!!!!

While under intense chemotherapy, I was diagnosed with Grover’s Disease after skin biopsies were taken. I was told not to sweat (in Florida in the summer) and to always take cold showers to minimize aggravations. Regardless, I experienced extremely severe rashes and uncontrollable itch, often waking up with bleeding arms, legs and stomach that I caused while sleeping. Prior to the diagnosis, I had tried every type of lotion with very little making any impact and none lasting any significant duration. I had been prescribed Hydroxyzine to help the itch at night and Triamcinolone lotion but was instructed to use it only 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. After the diagnosis, I was instructed to try the OTC Sarna solution. I had to use a lot as most of my torso and extremities were affected. It has a strong menthol-like scent and it often chilled me so as to require a sweater (in Florida) but it worked and worked well. I’ve beaten the cancer and am no longer on chemo, and the Grover’s Disease is still with me to some extent, especially now that I can get outside to do gardening. I use much less Sarna now, but I still use it when needed and I wholeheartedly recommend it.Read More Read Less

If you are looking for a steroid free lotion, this is it. controls the itch well. try it, you won't go wrong! trust me, I've tried so many lotions for itch; sarna is the next best lotion next to the steroid creams.
