I take 40mg of Lipitor a day but could never get my total chol. level lower than 212 no matter how hard I tried. My Dr. added 10mg Zetia to my Lipitor and after 6 weeks my total chol. was 184; 4 1/2 months later when it was again taken it was 180. My Dr. wrote "Fantastic" on the lab report when he sent it to me. Finally, something that has worked with my dieting and 3 days a week at the Y. Thanks Zetia

I had terrible muscle pain and weakness, especially in my legs. Could hardly walk or stand for more than a couple of minutes. Pain stopped the same day that I stopped using the Zetia.
