The painful sinus headaches vanished. My sleep pattern was greatly improved (haven't slept well for years) and I was able to get 7 to 8 hours of solid sleep after several months of on and off taking it. MY COMPLAINT: After $1200 of doctor bills and tests I discovered my extreme knee pain was from taking this. My knees burned under the knee cap and felt very swollen inside, very painful just to wal...
My hair used be be thick and curly and after 5 months of use it became thin, brittle and extremely straight and limp.

The generic Wal-itrin D from Walgreens helped to ease the runny nose, headache and sneezing I was experiencing. My sleep became irregular, my heart is beating rapidly enough that I wanted to research side effects. The rapid heart beat became more apparent after my third dose. I am going to call my pharmacist/doctor next.

My 3 yr old has allergies and this med does not stop the itchy eyes and sneezing. Doc has her take 1 tsp every nite. I have found that Benadryl works better than anything else.

I have tried this OTC for allergies. It will work if I am having a mild allergy day, but on a severe allergy it does nothing. Not a useful drug IMO. Also the little blister packs with the paper backing are very difficult to open. It's so irritating when your nose is running like a faucet and you have to spend several minutes fighting to get the pill out!

I've had a persistent cough for a few weeks and my Doctor said that I should take Claritin OTC for it. I've been taking for a week and my cough hasn't gone away.

I get itchy nose, stuffy nose, itchy eyes, wheezing - all sorts of allergies. Claritin works only partially for me. My problem has been that it gives me anxiety. I prefer using some of the over the counter night time allergy medication.
