I used this drug for 3 days and the burn and itching got so bad that I had to stop using it. It was horrible and did nothing to help my pink eye. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This medication works best on children. If it's used in adults there wil usuallyl be a similar reaction as if an allergic reaction with itching swelling and pain.

I was prescribe this drop for before and after cataract surgery, not pinkeye. I am allergic to sulfa drugs and I think this might be why my eye itched horribly every time I used it! I didn't even have an infection, and I think it was for prevention, so I don't know if it worked or not!

The vet prescribed this medicine for my cat's conjunctivitis. At the time, her eye was in good shape and only the surrounding tissue was inflamed. The surrounding tissue of the cat's eye completely swelled up to the point where the eye was no longer visible. The doctor changed the medicine, but it was too late. Her cornea ruptured and cat went blind in that eye and she is scheduled to have the eye removed. I am not convinced she was allergic to this medicine and precious time (one week) was wasted with the eventual loss of the entire eye. Read More Read Less

Took a little bit longer than normal to kick in, but worked perfect. Yes, it left my eye a little bit more red but just for a couple of days. Itchiness gone after 48 hrs. 1 week passed and feel much better.

The eye drops burn my eyes, and have not gotten rid of the pink eye. I am asking my doctor to find a different and more effective solution.

I had to use these eye drops on my 2 year old when she started to show signs of pink eye. It was terrible getting them in simply because she was 2 years old. I started using the drops the day her eyes started to get crusty and it cleared before they even became truly pink (within 3 days or so)

I was prescribed this for pink eye and instructed to apply 1 drop to each eye for 7 days. Today is day 8. My eyes are still red and yesterday I began having severe photosensitivity and irritation. My eyes keep watering and I can hardly keep them open. I'm not sure if the pink eye has even resolved or if my eyes are red from a reaction.

I was prescribed this medication less than 24 hours after symptoms appeared. It made my eyes burn even three days later and the redness increased dramatically. This drug was ineffective for my conjunctivitis.

I seriously think this medicine made my eyes worse. Before they were itchy and irritated but about an hour after using it, my eye lids were swollen and everything got much worse.

This did not work for my pink eye. Spread into the other eye by the next day. Drops burned; eyes still red and inflamed; eye discharge still significant and bothersome; eyes itchy and irritated; no real change after a week of use. Called the doctor to switch to another drop. Hopefully this one works better. Pink eye is terrible!!!

After using the drug for 3 days my eyelids became horribly itchy. That, I read later in the label, is an adverse effect of the medicine. I wish I had been given choices and told about the possible benefits and side effects of each of the options before being given the prescription.
