    Who should not take ACTH Gel?

    Check with your physician if you have any of the following:


    TB involving the lungs, inactive tuberculosis, herpes simplex infection of the eye, infection caused by a fungus, infection, hypothyroidism, Diabetes, Cushing's syndrome, low amount of calcium in the blood, low amount of potassium in the blood, Mental Disorder with Loss of Normal Personality & Reality, Myasthenia Gravis, Increased Pressure in the Eye, Increased Pressure in Eyes, Cataracts, high blood pressure, Chronic Heart Failure, Inflammation of the Esophagus, Ulcer from Stomach Acid, Diverticulitis, Hardening of the Liver, Liver Problems, kidney disease with reduction in kidney function, Scleroderma, Osteoporosis, recent operation, Visible Water Retention, Injury, Eye Infection, Increase in Cell Growth of Adrenal Gland Present at Birth
