I thought the shots were easy to administer and the info kit that came with it was easy to understand and follow. I was pleasantly surprised to find a DVD to watch that explained everything I needed to know.

I was having an MS episode & did not want to take the 3 day steroid infusion because of the thrush side effect so the dr put me on acthar 5 injections for 5 days. The first injection was not fun, I had dizziness and nausia. Both went away after 5 minutes. I feel better after 3 injections, but want better results. Hopefully I will feel better after all 5 injections. It isn't hard to inject, j...

I have had severe RA for 25 years. I have tried most everything out there: humira, enbril, remecade, etc. They worked for a time frame, but my body usually got used to them and quit working. Remecade did nothing. I started acthar 2 months ago. I got real good response to begin with (I was taking 80 mg 2X per week). Then it quit working. Side effects where fatigue and I got really lethargic. I didn't have any other side effects. It wasn't worth continuing- especially at $41,000.00 per bottle. Read More Read Less

I am using this medication for systemic sarcoidosis. I have felt better than I have in a long time. The effet seems to last 3.4 weeks after the 5 day injections are over. This is my second month taking it and I am stronger with it. My overall health is no longer poor.

Experience is really not so bad, especially with the hopes of feeling better. Good luck!Read More Read Less

My daughter has IS (infantile Spasms) and this medicine has helped SO much! at first i was scared because she is 9 months old and has to have a high dose of steroid.. what parent wouldn't be scared... But in all honesty the medicine didn't have any effect on her other than being fussy... Which i can handle! Fussiness is better than seizures any day!
