The eye drops are convenient and are pretty effective. I was also prescribed Erythromycin Ophth ointment for the night time but that was painful and irritating to my eye so I discontinued use and stuck with the drops.

I used this for my 17 yr old son after he had Pink eye, although it was originally prescribed for my 19 yr old daughter, after she had no side effects. However, after 3 days, my son had extreme pain in his legs, one more than the other, he could hardly walk around! I did not realize that this drug ( a quinolone)could affect the same way it did if taken internally, as the warnings said it would not...

Had eye surgery and my doctor prescribed several eye medications. This was by far the better of them all. Had an infection several weeks after my prescribed time frame. My doctor said use this one and it cleared up.

I was prescribed this medication at the clinic for pink eye, but it hasn't done ANYTHING. I have gotten this before and usually use polymyxin b, so I'm calling the clinic back today to get a different drug.

I started using this medication for pink eye on Tuesday and my eye has almost cleared back to normal by Thursday. I was instructed to use every 4 hours/2 drops each on the first day and then one drop every 4-6 hours for 5 more days.

I have been using this for less than 24 hours so I am not sure of the effectiveness but I have had headaches since taking it and am having trouble sleeping. It is 5am and I just took a dive out of bed trying to tackle someone in my dreams. Tonight I have also had several vivid dreams and have ended up with some sort of violent scene where I am kicking or hitting someone. My wife left the room so she wouldn't get hit and now I am afraid to go back to sleep because I don't want to end up on the floor with a broken arm. Read More Read Less

Reading all the other people with nerve damage and neuropathy....lots of pain. I so wish I would not have given this to him!!!! I am afraid of what is happening! Don't administer without looking up info on any quinolone drugs!Read More Read Less

I used this after cataract surgery. It interacted very badly with my nervous system causing me to feel electrical surges down my arms and legs and pulsating in my head. I will never take this drug again. Polymyxin and Trimethoprim are much better choices for me.

I have had numerous eye problems and two eye surgeries. This eye drop seemed to help a lot and since I use three different eye drops besides, this one worked out very well
