Dr cycles me on for 5 days and off for 2 days. It keeps your body from building up a tolerance to the medication. Take a month break every few months along with cycling on/off each week. Lost 77 lbs, kept it off during the month long breaks. I have 30 more lbs to loose, eating low carb and calorie, healthy fats and lean protein. Exercise 4 times a week.

Started using Adipex in April 2019, by June I had lost 46lbs. For me my biggest problem was overeating. Adipex stopped that completely. Suppressed my appetite which helped me so much. Before starting Adipex I was 281 I'm now 203. Been on a break since September so I'm excited to see how much I will lose this time. :-)

Adipex is one of the most popular drugs prescribed for weight loss, and people regularly buy the drug. Youâ??ll find many online sources that claim to sell the drug or drugs of a similar kind. It is very effective for weight loss.

This pill decreases my appetite, but where I live it is way too hot this summer to walk or do alot of exercise. I have managed a loss of 10 lbs in 10 weeks. I drink 80 oz of water per day and maintain a strict diet. I guess my age plays into it alot. I'm also taking Lipo BC which is supposed to burn fat. This doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

I love this medication, it has helped so much. I have digestive issues which cause it to be incredibly slow and sometimes stagnant, thus making my metabolism slow/stagnant. This helped my digestive tract move and raised my metabolism. I do experience dry mouth, that's my biggest complaint. But the first month on, I lost 5 lbs a week and then it slowed to 3lbs. I started at 215. Make sure you take it at the same time everyday. Make sure you drink a LOT of water. I have barely exercised on this, I've had 2 surgeries back to back so I haven't been able to get up and move around. But it still works. My dr is now keeping me on it, past the 3 month mark because it helps so much with my low blood pressure. This is one of the most helpful medications I've been on and I'm so grateful! I was 18, am 4'11, and started at 186 lbs when I tried it for 3 months. I dropped down to 156 lbs, and did not have much "side effects" other than thirst and heart rate feeling pretty fast at times. Sadly, as a busy college student, I gained 20 lbs in the matter of a year.. so am now starting Adipex again and trying to keep healthy habits. I've lost 3 pounds in the matter of one day, and am excited to see how the next three months go!

I started seeing a weight management physician seven years ago because I wanted to lose about 20 pounds that I had gained during past pregnancies. Several of my coworkers (overweight) were getting great results taking it. I was given a prescription, even though I was told my BMI was actually too low. I immediately understood why it was so great, you just don't feel like eating and can actually "forget" to eat. I lost several pounds the first couple weeks. I had the headaches, dry mouth and jitteriness at first, but that went away after about a week. It does give you a lot of energy and I can definitely tell the difference when I do not take it. My physician continues to prescribe this "off label", even though I have already reached my goal weight. I just have to go every three months to follow up, weigh in, and I'm given a prescription. I do try to take a break from it every so often. I worry that if I stop taking it for good though, that I will just gain the weight back, as others have said. Read More Read Less

This is my second time using the drug in a 2-3 months treatment. I find it super effective. I lost 28 pounds in the first months and I am on track to loose another 20 pounds in the second month. This brings me from a slight obese BMI to the low end overweight. The hardest thing remains that I ensure I use the time to get used to healthy habit changes, such as better eating habits and workout plans. Otherwise, it is easy to regain your weight.

I've suffered from obesity most of my life. I try to eat well and stay somewhat active but I needed help. My doctor mentioned a couple of options and this was the first one we picked. After meeting with a nutritionist my doctor prescribed me adipex. I have to say I'm surprised! I've lost 12lbs in 2 weeks. It helps with my appetite and I have more energy. The only con I would say is sometimes I have trouble sleeping.

I took this medicine almost 2 years ago. My first month I lost 23 pounds. I know people do reviews and they havenâ??t taken medication so youâ??re getting false reviews. I can honestly saw this medication works. I had no side effects and I felt good. When I went back for my 4 week check up my doctor kept asking if it was hard because I lost 23 pounds in 30 days. I told him I didnâ??t do any physical exercise. It controlled my cravings and I saw results so quick I wanted to do right everyday so I could lose more weight. My energy level was unreal. I did not have gitters nor did I have a crash. It wasnâ??t a caffeine rush just pure energy. The first day I took the pills I notice a different feeling and I was hoping it wouldnâ??t change. I felt good and refreshed. Overall, I lost a total of 36 pounds while I was taking the pills the first time. I just got my prescription today for my second round. This time I have to lose 48 pounds and Iâ??m done. Read More Read Less

Works great! I recommend it if you have a lot of weight to lose and have trouble getting motivated because it helps you net results fairly quickly and that generally helps you stick to the program. You absolutely need to incorporate diet and lifestyle changes or you'll just regain the weight. It isn't a miracle drug, but it is excellent for people like me that need to lose 50 lbs. The most common side effects for me are inability to fall asleep(especially if you take it after about noon), jittery feelings(not too bad though) and heart palpitations(rare and only when in combination with a considerable amount of exertion). I have been taking 37.5mg for 3 months, starting weight 390 and now 3 mos later 350. I do not the pill on Sundays, during the week I have no hunger cravings at all, and when I do eat it is Considerately less than before I started taking it. I do have very bad dry mouth daily and drinking plenty of water helps a lot. I drink 1 cup of coffee a day and do not drink soda. I have a 6 mos goal of 60 lbs so I can have my back surgery and it looks like I am going to make it. I am very happy that my doctor suggested trying this, it's been changing my life daily for someone who can't exercise due to a spinal injury. Read More Read Less

I started using Adipex on 12/3/16 taking (1) 37.5 tablet (1) day. In January I have been taking 1/2 of the dose and have lost over 25 lbs and counting. I have the drive and desire to exercise, to eat properly and I actually save $$$ at the grocery store. I am very pleased with this product.

I have mixed feelings. I have not really worked out, and only kind of eating right but guess what? I have lost 14 lbs in like 2 weeks. I am concerned by this. HOw can I lose so quickly. My BMI was about 65 so yes I had a lot of weight to lose. The thing that bothers me most is I feel weird on it. I don't have more energy and I seem to always feel hungry idk maybe I am not eating enough. ONe day I even felt nausea and another day light headed. Idk if it is related to this or not. However, I just know I have felt just whole body weird and kind of indescribable on this which I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Read More Read Less

I didn't realize that the FDA put a 3 month limit on this medication! I only lost 2 lbs the 1st month and 3 the second month. I was going to stop taking it and go to something else then the 3rd month I lost 10 lbs! I was very excited until I found I couldn't take it anymore. My body has a high resistance to medication so my doctor thinks that is why it took so long to start losing the weight. I, like everyone else, couldn't sleep for probably the 1st week but once my body adjusted to it I slept fine. I had a lot more energy than I did before but NOT "bouncing off the walls" energy. I was very happy with this medicine. Now for the downfalls: 1. Limited time you can be on by FDA 2. Slow to take effect for high resistant pt 3. VERY VERY tired when you stop taking it 4. Severe IRRITABILITY when stop taking it 5. WEIGHT GAIN after stopping it (2 lbs in wk) 6. Cravings and binge eating after stoppingRead More Read Less

This is my third time taking adipex over the last 10 years. The first time I lost about 50 pounds in 6 months and the second time I lost about 40 in 4 1/2 months. It definitely works! The key is to take the drug to jump start the weight loss because you will certainly lose weight, but you have to change your eating habits and incorporate some type of physical activity to keep it off. My doctor monitors my BP and will only write the prescription if he sees that it is working. The only thing is...I can only get this medication in two refills due to my insurance and then the prescription is filled at the generic level; which is fine; but of course not as good as the actual Adipex. I say if your blood pressure isn't a problem and you look forward to making long term changes; definitely give Adipex and try. You won't regret it. I wouldn't order it off the internet. Just don't know how authentic it will be and it may do you more harm than good. Please see an MD for the prescription.Read More Read Less
