This medication has made me very dizzy. Also, very tired. Was just starting to feel good, now I'm back where I started.

Have been on Avapro Oral for a year with only one side effect. It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth ALL DAY LONG. It has not affected my sexual preformance.

While this drug has been affective in lowering blood pressure it has the side effect of lowering libedo to the point of severe ED.

I have been on AVAPRO for over 4 yearsa dn my BP is under control. My Insurance company wanted me to switch to cheaper generic, when I did my BP went back up. I prefer to pay the higher costs. Yes I have ED and lack of sexual desire issues but the benefits of having controlled BP is worth it.

I have recently started using this med Avapro 300mg once a day, but by evening & night my BP (systolic ) goes up to 160/88 can take another dose of Avapro? if so how much?

I have been taking this medication for two weeks. I could sleep 15 hours and still wake up feeling exhausted. My blood pressure is better, so I am hoping the extreme fatigue will go away.

Avapro seemed to be the blood pressure pill for me with little side effects, I am more tired and running up the stairs makes my muscles in my legs ache bad...so I dont' run then, I use to pay $40 per month and now it's went up to $60 per month they need to make a generic of Avapro so my insurance will pay a big part of the bill, because it went up more I am going to try another blood pressure pill that my insurance will pay alot on I just hope it has little to NO side effects..I give Avapro a thumbs up and a thumbs down on Price!Read More Read Less

I feel very Tired on this drug. Is that normal?

Avapro has worked very well for me. I was previously taking Diovan and it was not getting my blood pressure under control. My doctor switched me to Avapro and now my blood pressure is doing much better.

Diarea, headache, severe heartburn. I think the cure is worse than the disease. Plus not covered much by insurance, expensive.

Has effectively lowered my BP. But 300 mg was too much caused severe backache. I also seem to have increased acid indigestion with it(don't know if related). It also causes problems if I don't stay hydrated. My doctor has me on 150 mg.

I only have one kidney and feel this is kidney friendly. My insurance co. doesn't have it listed as a preferred drug so I have to pay alot out of pocket to take it.

Worked well wiht no noticed side effects

Avapro and Benicar are poor treatments. For males, it will definitely have an impact on desire and performance.

Have been taking for several years now and bp is fine. However, have experienced double vision for awhile, soon after taking drug. Also experiencing severe back, shoulder and neck pain now but not sure if this is related to drug.

I am using since 2 months only. I feel my eyes burning,light headach.
