I'm going to give it to your straight! Due to this being a one day treatment, the medicine is MUCH stronger than the three-seven day creams. Therefore, you will experience some major burning sensation, mild itching and some serious leakage. I inserted the oval four hours ago and i'm experience mild burning and the leakage is something serious, so ensure you're wearing some old panties and conforma...

I HAVE USED M0NISTAT1 COMBO PACK 3 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 YEARS FOR YEAST INFECTIONS AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD IMMEDIATE RELIEF. MUCH MORE CONVENIENT THAN THE 3 AND 7 DAY APPLICATIONS.

I did not have the initial reactions many others have had. I had relief- but here I am about 3 days later and headed back to the store for gynelotrimin. I will NOT use this product again as it is ineffective.

Choosing the 1 day treatment for convenience turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! At first the YI seemed to clear up but on day 3 I started feeling sick (sore throat, generally malaise) and the burning seemed to have come back. On day 5 I woke with my heart racing and found that I had a full on rash on my arms, chest, face, and some on my stomach. Immediately took some Benadryl which helped but I had to continue taking for the next two days. Full on diarrhea also started on day 5 and today, on day 7, is still holding on along with occasional mild cramps. Rash and burning down there has cleared. This is clearly too strong. I used the 7 day version many years ago with no problems.Read More Read Less

I found that I had ALL the symptoms of a yeast infection and went over to the store to grab a monistat 1, after inserting it I felt absolutely nothing. I currently have a small stinging sensation down there but nothing as major as some if the other reviews. still waiting to see how this all turns out but the cream doesn't seem to work to well.

OMG, I WISH I WOULD HAVE THESE REVIEWS FIRST. MY VAGINA FEEL LIKE FIREWORKS ARE EXPLODING IN THE INSIDE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. I AM USING COLD TOWEL NOW TO CUT DOWN ON THE ITCHING. I WIPED AS MUCH OF IT OUT AS I COULD, BUT A COOL BATH IS ON THE WAY. I CAN ATTEST THAT THIS PRODUCT MADE ME WORST.

Monistat 1made it WORST. It burned my vagina and clitoris..my 1st mind told me to use the 7 day treatment..as u c I didnt. I ended up using the 7 day the 3rd day after the 1 day treatment. .1st day of using the 7 day treatment, vagina feels terrific. .6 days left..going to Dr. for a follow up after treatment. Lady's use the 7 day for full treatment. Had I read the reviews for Mon 1, I would have NEVER use it. Nothing that is sold OCT can clear anything in one day, it will take several treatments not oneRead More Read Less

On my 5th hour and very mild itching. Also, a tiny bit of cramping, but no real burning...more like a slight stinging itch. It seems to be hit or miss. I probably would not necessarily recommend this product due to the horror stories, but I'd use it again.

I really wish I would have read up on this before purchasing but I figured my mom wouldn't point me in the wrong direction when she said get monistat. After taking this and not thinking anything off if it I head to work. I have had the WORST itching, burning sensation and there is nothing I can do about it. They need a warning label or a label stating that this will happen. WOrst pain I've even been and and the most incomfortable. I am glad and relieved that I am not the only one who has experienced this though. At first I felt a since of worry. Read More Read Less

I inserted the capsule about 20 minutes ago and the itch and burn is way worse than it was before. I put on the cream it came with and it hasn't helped at all. I want this thing out of me, but I also don't want to deal with this infection anymore. I'm going to try and withstand the rest of this, but I would not recommend this. I wish I knew what I was getting myself into with this product.

Terrible misleading product. 15 mins after inserting the ovule I experienced THE WORST burn and itch I have ever known. It was so bad that my husband found me in bathroom sitting on the floor crying. I immediately took two Benadryl, a warm bath, tried spraying it out... Nothing provided complete relief. I am typing this at 4 in the morning because I am unable to sleep with this burn and irritation. Please just go to your dr and get the oral prescription. I'm telling you right now it's just not worth the pain :(Read More Read Less

Had a yeast infection so I took monistat 1 around 8pm started cooking dinner and felt it coming out. It didn't burn at first but 10 min later I started to feel discomfort next thing you know my vagina was on fire and I was on the floor crying and begging Jesus Christ for mercy. I would have rather been dead! My boyfriend thinks I was over reacting and after I read these reviews I knew I wasn't just being a baby after all! Please think twice before using monistat 1! I wouldn't wish this kind of pain in my worst enemy. I would not recommend because my vagina still kinda burns ;(Read More Read Less

After reading the reviews of others, I was apprehensive about using this product although I had used it several years ago without any problems. I must be fortunate, as I had none of the issues mentioned. I have sensitivity issues "down there" and have to be very careful with soaps, detergents, etc, but had nothing but positive results with this product... Thank heavens!

I had a yeast infection and felt like maybe the over the counter stuff could work. The cream kinda work for me but every time I apply it it would burn like a fire was on my vagina. I wish i would had read the reviews before I brought this product. Now about to make an hospital run. Hopefully I can get out before it's time for work!

okay, i knew going in that not everything works for every person. So i waited a day till i felt like i couldn't take the itch anymore then tried it after a hot shower, which i do recommend. I also knew from friends that some people use it when they don't need to or forget to use the external creme or use the external creme inside, so i was cautious. Worked great! I got an infection that was crazy itchy from taking amoxicillian. So if you get random infections during the year like i do just from taking any meds, this is the way to go when it gets bad. Also, you should consult your doctor...i consulted a nurse friend.Read More Read Less

worked fast, worked great, no issues what so ever. talked with my doctor said those who felt the burning were most likely treating a YI when they didnt infact have one.

3 weeks ago I purchased the Monistat 1 Day due for symptoms of a yeast infection. I inserted the medicine and used the external cream and decided to take a nap. When I woke up, my insides were on fire. I couldn’t close my legs; there was an intense burning sensation when I urinated. It was very difficult to wash; mild soap and water caused my genitals to burn. I made an emergency called my physician for immediate attention. My gentles were a purplish-red color and fully inflamed. There was nothing I could do to get relief and the systems lasted for 2 weeks. Today, my gentles are still discolored and intercourse is very uncomfortable. I’m a newlywed and I can’t believe how miserable I am from this produce. I followed the exact instructions and should not have experience such pain and discomfort.Read More Read Less

Like others, I opted for this when a yeast infection came on because I had a big weekend planned with my boyfriend and wanted to enjoy it. Boy did that backfire. I felt intense burning shortly after inserting the suppository in the evening, and was in severe pain the next day and only slightly less severe pain the day after. At the end of that first day my vulva was so swollen that I couldn't wipe after urinating. It was huge. If it didn't hurt so much, it would have been kind of cool. Ice brought down the swelling, and I spent the night of the first day and all of the second day with icepacks between my legs. On the third day, I felt a lot better-much like I had when the yeast infection first came on, that is itchy, but not burning and able to walk. She noted that the yeast was still there and prescribed a Diflucan. I am sure not everyone has such a terrible experience, else they would not have been able to get this stuff approved, but it's clear that enough people do that one should tread carefully. Get a Diflucan or do the 3 day treatment. In trying to guarantee myself a fun weekend, I totally ruined it with this stuff.Read More Read Less
