They work GREAT. No side-effects.Do not apply on the exact same spot too often or can irritate skin. I buy them at Costco and the price difference as opposed to the drug chain stores is a big deal. I highly recommend.

Have used this product off and on for years however this time I put 4 of these patches on my back thinking it would cover all the area. This increased my back pain to the point of almost went to the hospital. DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE PATCH THIS SHOULD BE ON WARNING. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 8 HRS IN ANY ONE DAY WARNING, AND DO NOT USE WITH ANY OTHER CREAM PAIN OINTMENTS. I ripped them all off called m...

I used one (camphor, menthol, methyl salicylate) on my right shoulder for 7 hours. The next morning I couldn't lift my right arm. I'm going to physical therapy to gain mobility.

Doesn't stick at all. I use it for my back and it comes off literally within seconds. The adhesive is very poor. The Walgreens brand has the best adhesive.

Been a longtime user of Salonpas. Which does provide real relief. Heard about Gel Patch with Lidocaine. And gave it a shot. Really disappointing. Primarily due to the “Gel base” which makes the application process a real hassle.

The original salon pause patch had a good adhesive and it would stay on Maybe for A-day or 2. Quite a few years ago they changed that to this current patch. It would work if it would stay on but it will not stay on more than a few minutes so I have to actually get either of that clear packaging tape and tape it on or get kanisaology tape and tape it on. So therefore I am not very happy with that at all. I can't help but wonder if they changed it specifically so it would come off so people would have to buy more and more of the product.Read More Read Less

I had lower back pain and shoulder and arm pain from helping push a friend's car out of a snow drift. I used the Salonpas roll on with lidocaine. It helped a little in my shoulders. However, it left a burning and itchy rash on my lower back. I am not sure if I will use this product again.

These would be included in my bag of ‘10 things I can’t live without’. They have saved me. I love them. They work instantly and provide a lot of relief.

I get excruciating pain in my knees when I sleep. The pain used to make me cry when I was a child.Any movement was horrendously painful. I have to tighten & release the muscles in my legs in order to get them moving so that the pain would go away. Recently tried Salonpas and am astounded at the relief. The pain is deep in my knees but the patch works wonders. Recently I purchased a tube of Kalaya which has similar ingredients but would be cheaper as the tube would last longer than using patches. It works just as well though I apply a pea size amount several times before bed. I have used every product on the market for my back. I've had back surgery from a car accident, spinal. fusion, now arthitis and spinal stenosis. No other over the counter product gives me relief like Salonpas. Every trip I have them packed.
