The old patches worked much better. These hardly relieve any pain and they barely stick. Horrible

I tried the Salonpas gel pack both for back and shoulder pain. First of all, no matter what I did, it did not stay on. Then I held it there for over an hour. Nothing. To me this is worthless.

After following the directions to a t I now have permanent scaring on my back where the patches were placed. Nothing on packaging for this side effect. I think this is a horrible way to find out.

I used this product for years, and it WAS very effective. The company changed the ingredients. I am looking at 3 different sizes of patches, the active ingredients are now: Camphor 1.2% Menthol 5.7% Methyl Salicylate 6.3% The methyl salicylate was cut from 10% some time ago. The new formulation is ineffective. I'm looking for a different product.

I experienced a severe allergic reaction to this product.It left hot red welts on my skin and extreme itching. Used this 5 days ago and am still suffering from the extreme side effects. My skin is blistered and looks like a chemical burn. This is the first time I used this medication and the last. I will now have to see a physician.

The patch is totally useless, no pain relief whatsoever.

works really fast. I have hip pain at night. I place a patch directly over the point of my hip bone, rub the patch for a couple of seconds and I can feel the pain dissolve. Works well for half the night - sometimes all night.

I have had pain for 2.5 years in my neck, arm and back. It was unknown the cause until recently, Cervicogenic Kyphosis & a pinched nerve in my neck. I was introduced to these patches by a friend and the only word I can use is magic.... It is the only thing that gave me relief and they legitimately last up to 8 hours. It is amazing and a blessing.

Have a lot of pain due to bone damage from bone cancer and lymphoma

I am glad so many of you have experienced relief, but must weigh in.Wellpatch capsaicin costs half as much and is more effective with no odor.Application is also easier and you can stretch them a bit.

This is the first product I have used to give me extended relief from Knee pain!

Applied patch to shoulder blade for scapula pain. Worked to take away residual pain as well.

This product is not good! It does not warm up like it says. Takes almost 5 hours to even start feeling it! Icy Hot patches are a million times better!

I have had morning back pain now for a couple of years nothing can relieve it I have to get up and move around to try to ease the pain. I have tried chiro physio massage and acupuncture but still I have pain I asked the chemist if they can recommend something. These patches are a medical miracle I went back to bed with the patches on and slept the best sleep, I'm going back to buy the whole box.

Worst Product! It didn't ease the pain in my shoulder, and it actually burned my skin. Customer Service at Salonpas not helpfully. Do not use this product.

I bought Salonpas for relief of a stiff neck. The INSTANT I put it on, my skin began to burn strongly. I washed it off right away and was left with a burned neck. Skin is still red the next day.

pain is gone but have had atrial fibrillation and spend one day to the ER ?

I had a horrible low back muscle spasm from sitting and studying all day for the past three months. I saw my doctor and tried anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants and nothing worked. She recommended Salon Pas and it is amazing. After using it for one day my low back pain is significantly better.

Very good product. Relieves pain considerably ! My son also uses it at work from time to time.
