They work GREAT. No side-effects.Do not apply on the exact same spot too often or can irritate skin. I buy them at Costco and the price difference as opposed to the drug chain stores is a big deal. I highly recommend.

Have used this product off and on for years however this time I put 4 of these patches on my back thinking it would cover all the area. This increased my back pain to the point of almost went to the hospital. DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE PATCH THIS SHOULD BE ON WARNING. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 8 HRS IN ANY ONE DAY WARNING, AND DO NOT USE WITH ANY OTHER CREAM PAIN OINTMENTS. I ripped them all off called m...

The back patches require the skills of a carny to get them applied. Way too difficult. Ridiculous in fact.

I've used the old ones before and this new one gives you less patches, they don't stick very well and the pain relief is not as good please go back to the old formula

I got the pads on my doctor's recommendation after breaking some ribs. First praise is the packaging. Easy to open everything. Thank you for that. Second praise is for pain relief, which I noticed almost immediately. Good product.

Old patches worked very well, do not like new formula at all. They seem to burn my skin and do not provide the pain relief the old ones did.

This is my first time use of SalonPas. I purchased the 140 patch pack from Costco. I have osteoarthritis of the shoulder, bone on bone. I don't expect anything to take my pain away completely. I found this product effective for me when I use three patches (one anterior placement, one posterior placement and one right at the top of my shoulder). I am not crazy about the odor, but the benefit of the patches out way my annoyance with the order.

Dont spend money advertising this product..fix it..new and improved does not stay on and even though its stronger it leaves burn mark and cant be worn long. That ok it fall off after about 1/2 hr. I have used this for many many yrs and told my friends about it.. shame on you for releasing new ineffective product..your making more money and loosing old customer along the way.

I have used the old Salonpas, it worked fine. I bought a new Salonpas improved formula Pain Relieve Patch (140 patches) from Cosco. It did not work as the old one. Besides it gives me a burning sensation. I am quite disappointed. I do not rely on it anymore!

Bring back the old formula!!! This new and improved formula doesn't even stay on and no relief of pain whatsoever!!! The only thing you improved are the sales of your competition because everyone will be buying something better and one that actually works!!!

Salonpas has more than doubled the price since making a newly formulated patch! They claim that it is 20% larger, but when you lay it next to the old patches, it is barely larger! The new patch does not stick as well as the old patches. Not worth ore than doubling the price! GREEDY COMPANY! When you talk to their customer service department they are very nasty and say that they have no control over the retail price, it's controlled by the wholesalers. The price would not go up unless THEY raised the price! I say, it's a good patch, but not worth the price they now want to charge! I'm boycotting them and encourage others to do the same!Read More Read Less

The patch is too flimsy to be able to put on the mid back alone. It kept sticking together. They should make it more substantial like the Lidocaine patch so you can apply it by yourself.

This used to be a very good product. The "new" Salonpas is no where near as effective and they don't stay on my skin as well. This was my first box of the new Salonpas, as well as my last box.

New patches - company changed the formula. Not as good. They stick better but the new formula causes more side effects and does not work as well. More medicine is not always better!!!!
