this is such a wonderful product. when i use it, it opens my lungs instantly. yes, the machine does take some getting used to, especially for us older folk, but all you need is an open mind. out with the old, in with the new. and again, the best part about it is that it really does give you the immediate ability to take a deep breath again, nothing is better than that. so thank you, asthmanefrin.

My boyfriend died after using this for months. Instead of getting treatment from a doctor this crap is available for people to bandaid serious issues. I'm not saying it directly caused his death, but it did not help.

The effectiveness of this product is GREAT!! I might even goes as far as saying it works better then my abuterol inhaler however it does have a couple quirks. I am currently on my 3rd Atomizer. The first one I take full responsibility for, it only lasted me about a month. They recommend cleaning the unit daily however I only cleaned it about once a week. The 2nd one is a different story. Because of the short life span on my first one I followed the cleaning instructions to a T and the unit failed after 3 months. I called the manufacture and they were very helpful and mailed me a replacement unit that I received within 72 hours. I am now have about 3 months of use on my 3rd unit that is now becoming clogged. The amount of medication expelled its probably about 30% of what it once did. I have a lot of friends from work you have switched from cigarettes to this new E-Cigarette fad, these also require the use of an atomizer. The way a lot of E-cig. atomizers are designed makes a lot more sense, there easily taken apart where you are able to clean everything out very thoroughly unlike Asthmaefrin's atomizer. I just order one off the internet however I tested it out on my friends atomizer and it worked perfectly. He smokes out of his so it gets a significant amount of usage compared to mine and his is over a year old, my belief is this is the way to go. Asthmenefrin gets 3 thumbs up when it comes to their medications, however in order to be successful going forward they really need to sever ties with whomever is supplying their atomizers.Read More Read Less

I used Primatene for years and, while this does work far better than albuterol, the mister is a pain to clean and keep clean. I order new med cups every few months. I just wish the old Primatene was back and to heck with the idiotic "ozone damage" ;propaganda.

My wife and I both have exercise induced asthma, so we thought that we could try this over-the-counter inhaler to help make our workouts more enjoyable and possibly longer. The opposite was true. This made it so much worse! Within ten minutes after taking my chest had tightened up worse than it does from the exercise. And my wife's reaction was worse. She was coughing and spitting and some of her saliva had I pink hue to it, implying that the medicine irritated her throat to the point of bleeding. Needless to say I'm pissed. It's one thing to have a cheap crappy product, but it's quite another to have a cheap crappy product that hurts my wife!Read More Read Less

This is a ripoff. It works 3-4 days before ceasing to emit vapors. Lid breaks after a few days.

Definitely effective at treating asthma, if lacking a bit in the convenience department. I highly recommend this to anyone hurting from the Primatene ban.

Only worked for a couple days with constant cleaning. After four days the machine only produces a wisp of vapor after cleaning. It is not an effective way of relieving asthma. Save your money. Wasted several vials of medicine which is not cheap. I am just going to toss it out and continue looking for anything that will help me breathe.

While nothing has been more effective for me than Primatene Mist, including all the prescription inhalers, I am ecstatic that Asthmanefrin can be purchased OTC. Considering I have a $30 co pay for office visits and my doctor does not authorize refills without an appointment. My co-pay on traditional inhalers are also $30, it was costing me $60 a month to get an inhaler! Heaven forbid if I ran out before the end of the month because then I would have to pay $64 for a Pro-Air inhaler. This product is easy to use and more cost effective for me. But I truly hope they bring back the Primatene Mist!!!Read More Read Less

I've had asthma my whole life, and have used everthing from Ventolin, Proventil, Advair, Primatene Mist, etc. This medicine does work but, the price of this stuff is ridiculous. Primatene was $20. This stuff is 3 times the price of Primatene. Also the machine is bulky and inconvenient. Doesn't even fit in your pocket, gets dirty with medicine residue and must be cleaned constantly. I will continue using Ventolin and my back up Primatene inhalers until a better product comes out. I only recommend if you have no medical insurance and are in desperate need to breathe.
