I started on this medication almost a year ago as a result of having a test of testosterone. The initial reading was 287 and I was feeling barely OK, but wanted to have a increase in general well-being. The initial dosage was one application under each arm at 1.5ml per pump; 3.0ml per day. Retest of testosterone produced 415 and a little better feeling overall. Dose was increased to 3 pumps per...

The twenty five dollar a month trail is a great deal! Once this deal expires, I will not spend the three hundred dollars a month to continue use.

Not an effective treatment to raise testosterone for me. I'm 51 YOA and work out 4-5 days a week with cross fit or HIIT training. I'm fit for my age, 6'1 / 198 lbs with a BMI of 26.1. Prior to using Axiron my T levels were 274, 254, and 270. I've been taking 1 pump of Axiron under each arm pit for 90 days. Just received my blood work and new level is 132! Disappointing to say to the least. Haven't really noticed any other improvements physically or mentally. I'll wait to see what my doctor prescribes.. perhaps he'll recommend doubling up on my dosage. I agree with the other posters about the how messy the application process is. Read More Read Less

I had no results at all from 60mg. Went to injections. The applicator is horrible and spills. My numbers that started me were 171 then 191. After 2 months on Axiron my numbers were 182. Obviously no response to it.

My company switched prescription companies and the new company would not cover androgel. I was taking it for fatigue and low testestesterone. I have been on Axiron for about a month now. The applicator sucks. The medication runs down your arm if you add to much to the cup. Its not like Androgel where you just give it a pump, you have to guage how much to pump yourself with Axiron. Anyways, after about a month on this stuff, I am feeling my fatigue back. Haven't gone back into the doctor to have another checkup, but I would bet that Axiron is not delivering effective treatment. OK guys, time-out! I never thought I'd come to the defense of a consumer product, much less one that costs such an indefenseable amount of money, but: 1. There are a lot of guys on here complaining they had low testosterone (Low T) and giving their numbers before treatment. A large portion of them say Axiron took their numbers up into the 500 range. THIS IS WHAT THE DRUG IS SUPPOSED TO DO! If you're roughly between 348-1000, you're back to normal. Axiron worked. The fact that you still feel tired, or fatigued, or depressed is most likely due to other issues. I think there are too many guys on here expecting to take this drug and it turn them into the Hulk, make them happy all the time, and provide for them sex whenever they want it. If you want these things too, get some Prozac, workout, and possibly talk to a plastic suregon or a hooker. 2. Those who have had a negative experience with Axiron are much more likely to go online and complain about it than guys that it has worked for. Happy folks just don't spend time on the internet complaining. In other words, there a probably a whole lot more people who have had a good experience with this drug than just those posting here.Read More Read Less

Started using 3 months ago to reverse symptoms {primarily to improve libido)due to hypogandism [Low T}. Totally ineffective--no improvement. Pain in the ass to apply, burns underarms. Will be transitioning to injections ASAP.

Worst TRT I've tried so far. Axiron is the consistency of water and then you apply it to the vertical surface of your underarm. Who thought this was a good idea? It often bounces out of the applicator cup and then when you go to apply it, it splashes and runs down the side of your torso. My insurance dropped coverage of Androgel for this joke of a medication and my physician said many of his patients have switched this year. It seems that the producer of Axiron is having to give cut-rate prices to the insurance companies to sell this dud of a medication. I'm thinking of going to a Low T center even though it will triple my monthly TRT cost. Axiron is just a horrible medication that should be pulled from the market or changed. Read More Read Less

The application is terrible: pump it into a "cup" and hope it doesn't slosh out while trying to slather it into your armpit, where it starts running down your sides because it takes too long to dry. Stuck it out for a month, progressively bad psychosis, was suicidal by the end. Not ideal for guys who are on total testosterone replacement.

I was on Testim and never got above 260 so I tried Axiron. My levels initially spiked to 550 but was just retested and am down to 166. I'm going to try injections or pellets now.

Testosterone beginning level was 235, then six months later 325, six months after that 424 and just last week it was 883. Wow! My doctor and I were shocked. That's 30 mg per day. Im also taking 30mg of Armour thyroid medicine per day. I can't figure out why the big jump within this last 6 months. Anyone have any ideas? Going back to the doctor next week to be retested.

$385 per month for the Rx. ~$90 for 3 months of a vial and at home injections. This is why health care costs/insurance is ridiculous.

I have a condition called Anorchidism or Vanishing Testes Syndrome (I don't produce testosterone naturally). I have been on Androgel for years and switched because Axiron seemed so convenient to use (which it is). Within 2 weeks, my levels had dropped from around 500-600 to 155. I knew something was wrong - sluggish, no sex drive, no erections, etc. I have switched back to Androgel. Be careful if you decide to switch to Axiron from another testosterone Rx.

I'm pretty sure Axiron is a French word that means "Not worth $400.00 a month." It's better than nothing. But,it tore my skin up and it only raised my T levels from 382 ng/dl to 391 ng/dl.

Tried drug for 3 months, no improvement. Insurance will not cover this medication and at over $400 per month including the generous $75 copay by company, this is not the medicine for me.

I was doing injections and wanted to stop. I used this on trial and had very quick response. Use as directed as extra will cause constant erections. Constant erections are bothersome and Axiron can be used as directed. More is not better but this medication works quite well and under the arms use makes transfer to partner just about risk free. Give this drug a good trial. It works USED AS DIRECTED.

My testosterone reading was 124 when I started treatment. 3 weeks later it had jumped to over 900. The product is easy to use and I have increased libido, energy, and no significant side effects. Well worth it for me.
