I always feel uncomfortable when having to insert anything in my vagina, but I have gotten use to using this product and it's overall easy to use.

I took Vagistat-3 for a yeast infection. I knew it was an infection because I've had them before, so I figured I would buy this over the counter medicine to make it go away. This product is very easy to use and I never had any negative side effects, however it was ineffective. After 3 days I still had a yeast infection and nothing had improved. I would recommend, just be sure you place it far enough in , 1st I used it, the suspensory was coming out lol so I had to push it back it and it got a little messy, but after that I went to lay down and seriously like within 30 mins I started to feel a lot better, itchiness was not so much intense.

I purchased this product for a yeast infection. Used a different brand before but this was on sale. On the second night, I was awakened at 3 a.m. with such intense burning, itching and swelling I didn't know what to do. I also had intense pain in my abdomen and low back, and some slight bleeding as well. I was already being treated for a UTI (on cipro) which was what caused the yeast infection, and those symptoms were already diminished. I knew it had to be from this cream. I called my OBGYN in the morning and she prescribed Diflucan which thankfully took the pain away quickly. I am uncertain as to why this happened since I have never had such an adverse reaction to a product of this nature before. Perhaps I was allergic to one of the inactive ingredients or perhaps the 3 day was too strong. In any event, it was very painful and the discomfort lasted for nearly 7 hours before the Diflucan took it away. Read More Read Less
