I have been taking this drug for perpherial neuropathy, without it, I am in constant pain and have "pins and needles". It was difficult at first with three times a day dosing and the doctor did have to adjust the dose because the orginal dose I would sleep for hours and was not able to work or drive. I take neurontin for severe foot pain from Lupus. The pain is so overwhelming that I am unable to stand or do anything when I have an attack. Neurontin has decreased these attacks to about 1 a week instead of every morning.

i have a rare form of neurofibromitosis 2. i have had 2 brain tumors removed and also a spinal tumor removed. however, i still have a tumor in my spinal cord and various "nodules" growing on nerve roots in my spine. i have horrible nerve pain in my left calf and left foot because of one of these "nodules". neurontin (i take the brand) helps me with this pain more than any narco ... I take 300mgs 3 times a day I feel so much better I can walk with very little pain and I feel better about myself
