I had two major artery blockages 5 years ago. Subsequent medical tests following angioplasty and stent placement revealed a hign Homocysteine level. I've used Folbic for 3 years for high homosystine levels. It has vastly improved my condition. It is no longer formulary with my insurance. Too Bad!

My doctor ordered DNA testing when I was in the hospital a second time in many years with pulmonary emboli with no reason determined. The report showed mutants associated with hyperhomocysteinemia and vascular disease. Therefore my doctor has prescribed Folbic oral for me.
