seems this drug has affected my legs and feet not sure but they are swelling and legs get real tired

This medicine makes me search aimlessly on medical websites, for negative interactions (i.e. with Niaspam). I am now addicted to esearches. I get brain spasms. Searching for which drug to eleimnate. No end in sight, difiulty reading encrypted pictures

i've been taking vytorin for about 6 months and my followups numbers have been satisfactory,so says my doctor, however, my hdl is only 30, which is low, as far as i am concerned. I have had doubts about vytorin prior to hearing the bad publicity of late in that i have had muscle aches , chest pains, carotid artery spasms in the neck and restless leg symptoms with cramping. Also headache behind my left ear accompanied with slight headache and I never get headaches. I was on advicor and got severe niacin hives like reaction so quit that, vytorin is better but what is best.who knows. i heard this may cause blockage in the carotid??? also vision blurred a bit lately but that may be a cataract developing as i'm now 62. This drug did lower my Chorlesterol however after a few months I started having neck pain on one side. Later I had night leg pain from hip to feet. I was informed by my Doctor to stop taking Vytorin. It has been a week and no more pain.

I HAVE BEEN TAKING THIS DRUG FOR TWO YEARS NOW.I HAVE BEEN HAVING PAIN IN MY SHOULDER FOR SOME TIME NOW.DR.GAVE ME SOME INFLAMMATION PILLS.DID NOT HELP.I AM NOW HEARING IT IS NOT GOOD FOR A PERSON TO TAKE THIS DRUG(VITORIN).I WILL RETURN TO MY DOCTOR FOR DIFFERENT CHOLESTROL MEDICINE.

I used this drug until a few months ago. It was definitely lowering my cholesterol. But after having a casual conversation with a friend, we learned we had some of the same side effects as others we knew--all taking vytorin. The main side effect was joint stiffness--had difficulty rising from a chair, bed, etc. Also had pain in hip joints when walking a distance. So, after discussing with my Dr., I dropped it. NUmbers are good after bypass surgery, however LDL is still slightly high.

i have been on vytorin forover a year, but for last few months ihave been getting a lot of muscle pain in mylegs and feet

I had such extreme flushing that I wouldn't take it after the first pill.. Awful.

After having a heart attack I was prescribed vytorin and it worked great. It lowered my ldl from 220 to 160. It hasn't done anything for my hdl which is at 26. After 2 months of taking it I hurt all over. My doctor took me off of this and put me on lipitor 40mg which has helped greatly but I still have a few minor aches and pains.

It worked very good but my muscles got very sore and I had headaches in the morning.Will go back Zocor.

No side effects that I've encountered. Wonderful in bringing down levels, along with changing my diet, exercising, and losing weight. Highly recommend

I have only used this drug for two months but the results have been outstanding. My cholesterol has dropped from 220 to 160. LDL is now 75 and HDL is also 75. Triglycerides are 45 and no side effects.

I lost 107 points in 3 months. No problems with side effects.

I just started with Vytorin 10 days ago, so I don't know what the results will be. But I am ready to throw it away; I have developed a horrible metalic taste in my mouth. It is so distracting, not only does it affect my appetite, but I spend the better part of the day trying to find ways to get rid of this taste. This, combined with a new allergy med have also created a very tired feeling, that no amount of sleep will cure.

Body aches, chest pain, stomach and side pain, shortness of breath, body stiffness, weight gain, heartburn, fluid build up in legs.
