I have suffered and not worked for 5 years. Now with 30mg of this drug I have been able to look for work. The anxiety and panic are not present.

I suffer from anxiety and paranoia. This drug blocks it out. I take it at bedtime and once in the day. Couldn't survive without it.

I tried this drug about 10 years ago. It did not work then as I had SEVERE Panic/anxiety.. With the use of Klonopin 1 mg. along with Buspar, I don't see much of a diffence but I have only been on it a few days. I will give it 2-3 weeks.. We'll see....

I take Buspirone to augment my SSRI, which seemed to stop working. It worked in reducing depression and anxiety, but it is not easy to use because it takes a LONG time to work. At least 6 weeks, in my experience, to really start feeling well. And the dose, from what I understand, needs to be at least 45mg. So, if you take this medication, realize that it may take many weeks to start working. Interestingly, it may correct any sexual dysfunction you may have with SSRI.

I have used this for PMS for about a year. I am generally a totally laid back person but during PMS I get upset about everything so this has worked to take the edge off. I started on a higher dose but have taken less and it seems to work also, sometimes I miss taking them when I am fine but continue before my PMS starts again and I have no trouble with it then either even though I know it says to stay on it regularly... The side effects I don't like are that it makes me dizzy for maybe a half hour, especially if I don't have a full stomach so this is another reason I lowered the recommended dose. This is the only medication of this type I have ever tried and am overall pleased enough with it.Read More Read Less

I've dealt with severe anxiety for over five years. This med is OK, but the high doses and multiple times a day are a pain. I still require Xanax, but only about once a day now. Since I have severe anxiety, this does take the edge off, I just wish it could make it all go away.

After 6 days, this Rx has helped cut the edge on the stress/anxiety I was feeling. This is my first experience with medication of this type, and was hesitant to try it, and even questioned whether I needed it. After 6 days, my husband has noticed a postive change...calmer, less irritable, generally happier. I'm able to handle my work stress much better, without transferring it to my home life.

I felt as if I were drowning in life situations, I needed a life preserver so I could just "rest" a while so I could go on. This has been my life saver! For years and years doctors tried to put me on antidepressants, and I would get more depressed. THIS gave me the calm I needed without making me a zombi.
