Comment:
Biaxin is working for my bronchitis, however, the diarrhea is very troublesome. It has also caused my tinnitus to worsen.

The bronchitis cleared up, but the side effects were horrible. I had diarreah for the 5 days I was on it, had a 'strange' feeling like yeast was growing in my body, and adrenalin was going to my intestines (feeling 'scared'), with my skin itching and feeling so sick I almost wanted to die. i took this medication before finding out i was pregnant with my son in 1998. he was born with congenital heart disease, has had 3 open heart surgeries, is autistic, has a seizure disorder and many other health issues. DO NOT take this medication if you think you might be pregnant!

so so good. I just started taking this medication for bronchitis. I have ten more days to go.

I had bronchitis for almost 2 months and finally succumbed to antibiotics! Biaxin was chosen because of my penicillin allergy. I noticed that began improving within 36 hours of starting the drug. I also was not informed about the unusual taste which came in the middle of the night. I have not found the unusual taste a problem during the day, maybe because I'm eating throughout the day.
