I have had no problems whatsoever. I've never been one to have problems with BC pills anyway. All this talk about mood swings and decreased sex drive...blah blah blah I don't believe BC has anything to do with that. The only problem (and not even a problem) I've missed my period or it is very light to non existant! And that to me is a blessing. I've always taken BC's that have stopped or lightened...

I recently switched from Sprintec to Previfem because of the recall and I cannot express how much I dislike Previfem. Not only did it make it bloated, it caused major weight gain. It increased my appetite and decreased my sex drive. I am switching to a new birth control as soon as I can.

Using it for less than a month and I'm already done. It's effective, but it has side effects like stomach cramps and tender breasts. Next !!

I previously used Mononessa. I was on that for about 3-4 years. I recently moved, when I switched pharmacies so did my birth control. At first, I was fine with it. Halfway through the first month of taking it is when all of my side effects began. My boobs growing, irregular periods (the whole reason I started bc in the first place), spotting in between periods (especially the week before I was supposed to start), night sweats, decreased sex drive, and depression intensifying. I'm now on my third month of the previfem and I want off. I can't stand taking this anymore! Calling my gyn Monday morning to switch!Read More Read Less

I've taken this pill for about 2 months now from switching from the nuvaring which I absolutely loved (except the price) While taking this pill I've noticed this weird feeling in my stomach I almost feel hungry all the time and it's painful as well as irritating. my cramps are horrible while on my period, and my hormones are all unbalanced one minute im happy the next im yelling at my boyfriend. I've also gained weight while on this pill but at the same time eating right and exercising will help, I don't think it's JUST the pill making me gain weight. I want off the pill but im afraid of the cost of other pills. I hope im not the only pne experiencing this. Read More Read Less

I was switched from another birth control pills. I believe it was Sprintec (it may have been another). All the BC pills I've taken were effective against the PMS and borderline PMDD symptoms I had. I switched from my other birth control because it was causing some unnatural depression. This pill has been easy to take and I don't usually suffer from cramps for more than the first 24 hours when I'm menstruating. Birth control in general has been a life saver, but this particular mix works very well for me.Read More Read Less

ive been on three birth controls. Occela(yaz), a very low dose(which I dont knwo the name of anymore)< and now previfem. My doctor recommended it becuase i didnt like the extreme low dose as it was too testy with time frame, and the second time i went on occella(i took a brake for a little) I started getting extreme painful headaches when i would exert myself. ive been on it for two months. Everything has been great, especially no headaches! The only complaint i have is that my boobs have grown even more and they are super tender most of the time. im hoping this goes away soon. I have very bad and uncontrollable mood swings. Even the slightest little thing makes me burst into tears. It hurts to have sex. I hate this.

I started taking this pill the day my cycle started and I haven't stopped spotting after my period was supposed to end. i'm going into my 9th day of my period and it only lasts me 5 days. But on the bright side i no longer get clots like I usually do and it flows a lot lighter than usual.

I have been on Previfem for the last month. I am 18 and this is my first time trying birth control. I was a little leery at first because I have heard all of the 'bad reviews' about Previfem. I am taking this due to my extremely long and heavy periods, which usually would last around 8-10 days. I would also get excruciating cramps and bad stomach aches. The only issue I have had is a stomach ache/diarrhea one day after the first week of taking it. I have also had a few mood swings within the first week or so, which have subsided. This will be my second month on it, and I have to say it is great. Haven't had a period yet. My Dr. prescribed me to take 63 active pills in a row, and then take 7 inactive to help lower my period occurrence. I am happy with this product.Read More Read Less

I was switched to this due to my insurance and ever since getting on Previfem it has been a serious decrease in everything! PAINFUL cramping, and as for sex--> every since being on it no matter what we try it hurts! I do NOT recomment this if its not forced upon due to insurance!

This was my first birth control at a very low dose and I have had no side effects what so ever-which is Good (except I was lookingf forward to my breasts getting a bit bigger). It has been a year now and I have noticed I do still get the normal side effects of my period- slight cramping and slight breast tenderness. I am very dry during sex- but the only thing I have to compare it to is not being on any bc- so it might be the same with other brands- its not worth it to mess with a good thing so lots of lube it is! I Previously was on Sprintec but my insurance switched me to Previfem due to a call back on sprintec. I Have been on Previfem for over 2 months and have been experiencing major mood swings due to high hormones in the pill. Depression has worsened and breast tenderness has increased constantly. i do not recomened using this pill. as of tomorrow ill be off of it.

I started taking this birth control after giving birth to my daughter after a 3 year battle with P.C.O.S (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom/) It is easy to take and has worked well with leveling out my cycles, but has made me an emotional wreck and on top of that I have NEVER had acne and I have BAD acne my last week of blue pills. I would recommend this pill to someone that has a missing period to level out your cycle, but that is all.

I gave my low rating because I went from Sprintec to this and to be honest, I didnt care for this at all, I feel like I completely lost my sex drive using this pill and I still broke out. I know everyone's body is different and my body just didnt agree with Previfem...

Overall it's not that bad, short, light periods, no pain. No acne. The only problem is weight gain, not much only about 10 pounds but it's impossible to lose.
