I was on this medication for a month and sure it brought down my blood pressure along with me!! I was like a zombie, I was depressed, tired, thinking night right. I read the side effects and thinking crazy seems to be a serious one. I told the nurse she called me back 4 day's later and this point it was out of my system I felt brand new. Started treatment 3 weeks ago because of chronic cough from years of using Losartan. Take 25mg 2x day. First noticed leg and foot cramps at night, then headaches. Blood pressure remains high, especially top number from high 150's to 190's. This was given to me at the hospital this past weekend and it nearly killed me. Severe adverse reaction, headache, heat rate shot up over 200 bpm, lost feeling in my hands and feet, shaking uncontrollably, couldn't breathe and was going to pass out. This was the scariest thing I ever experienced. Mine was injected so the reaction was much quicker than a tablet would give. This stuff is AWFUL.

glad to know why I have these brown splotches which would normally look like a bruise where I bump my arms on things. This shows as a "severe" side effect. Have to take it up with my MD.
