i found that if i take it about 30-45 minutes after eatting with the 8 oz. of cold water, that i'm relatively fine, however, taking it on an empty stomach in the morning made me terribly nauseated and nothing helped stop it for about an hour or two. it's really helping clear up my skin when tons of otc stuff didn't.

Severe pain in stomach. Tightness in chest. Tingling in hands and face. I'm 17 years old and thought I was going to die in my bed. Went to emergency and was told to immediately discontinue. These symptoms lasted for another three weeks. I was terrified it would never end. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

Originally started taking it for malariya prevention. Kept taking it because my acne cleared up completely. Works very well when I remember to take it, but has to be taken with food or I get very nauseous.

I have been taking this med for a week now and the side effects are horrible. I am experiencing vaginal pain and discomfort. I have the urge to go to the restroom a lot. The pain is horrid. I have decided to stop taking this med.

Not sure if it will work. I'm scared to start taking it because I know it kills all the good bacteria but a word of advice to all. They have over the counter probiotics that are reasonably priced. Ask you doctor if you can take it with the medication or take it after you finish the full treatment. I've taken antibiotics and probiotics afterwords and it really helps with stomach sensitivity

My son has been on this medication for his mild acne for about a year. It has improved his skin. However, he has developed stomach sensitivity. He is experiencing nausea and just recently vomiting has started-originally thought was a "flu-bug" but persisted. Unfortunately, will discontinue use.

This medicine helped my eyes, but days after taking it I had vaginal discomfort, and dizziness. It worked for the eyes, but the side effects that I had from it made me stop taking it.

I developed a severe allergic reaction. I was treating a skin rash and when I used this I exploded in a rash. I thought it was just a rapid progression of what the problem was and not a response to the drug. But the reaction was so extreme that I insisted on an emergency appt and they told me they thought I was allergic. They took me off it immediately

I am using this medication for acne, and I am very happy w/ the results. As a teen, I never really experienced acne so I was very surprised and sad when it started popping up. After seven months of using products, like pro-active, which guaranteed results -but didn't do anything, I finally went to my doctor for help. My skin is back to its normal self! Unlike some, I haven't experienced any side effects, because I was told to take it only once a day right at bed time. Thanks Dr. B!

I take 100 mg twice a day. I take one with breakfast and a large glass of water, and the second with dinner and a large glass of water. I am vulnerable to heartburn, but I am careful to drink a lot and sit up for at least 45 minutes after taking the medicine. I have not experienced any side effects.

I have been on this medication for 3 days for pneumonia and so far I have seen no results. I take 100mg 2x day and I get terrible headaches! I also feel hot. My doctor told me to take with food and there has been no problems with my stomach. I do drink a lot of water but notice that it dries my lips and eyes. This is my third antiobiotic and I am very frustrated because I still feel like crap. I am weak and just want to sleep all the time. It does cause sleepliness at times and I toss and turn in bed, you just can't relax! I have seen no improvement.Read More Read Less

I took this drug just as it said, but after the ten days on 100mg twice per day, it didn't phase me. I'm still hacking and coughing, but once got an IMMENSE headache while on it, and now after recently finishing it I broke out on my face with some sort of uber-acne-rosacea condition. I was out in the sun everyday while taking it and it had no effect on me, and I didn't get a yeast infection. Really, other than the headache and the facial rash, I could have been taking sugar tablets.

lKristie402, Although all cases are different, my doctor told me I would have to be on this medication for years if not for the rest of my life. He also prescribed Diflucan with many refills for the yeast infections I get due to this medicine. All in all it's not too bad once you get used to it.

Using this for chronic lyme disease for 30 days (have had undiagnosed for over 1 yr) - works well, inflammation in my ears, neck, face, and bones is less. Cognitive function better. Still have pain in joints, weak muscles. STAY OUT OF THE SUN! I got badly burned even with 50spf. My hands hurt so bad I can't even touch thr skin. They are on fire. Also, eat with full meal and sit up. Don't take with sugary meal, take with protein.

it made me so sick to take it. since the stuff kills all the bacteria (including the good bacteria)in my body, i started to develop a yeast infection. I had to eat tons of organic yogurt just to get good bacteria. I couldn't finish it; I couldn't handle how sick it made me feel.
