Sleep disturbancecause by frequent need to urinate. !0mg before bed gave me a deep,undisturbed sleep for 7to 8 hours.

I was put on 25mg of amitriptyline for chronic pain from endometriosis 3 days ago. I have a new born and have a difficult time waking up to feed him 3 times during the night and feel groggy and very sleepy till noon. Plus my boyfriend has noticed that after the first night taking it I was mean, irritable, and my emotions were out of control. I'm going to give it till the end of the 4 weeks to ... Comment:
I have fibromyalgia and take only 10mg about 7:00 at night to sleep it has been very successful for me and I have been taking it for over 10 years. Taking it earlier in the evening eliminated the groginess in the morning.
