I have beentaking crestor for 3 weeks and now developing leg pain, swelling ankles, i am a pharmacy technician and the pharmacist i work with told me about the muscle damage caused by this medication, told me to stop it immedately, called my dr told him he said to stop taking it and see him in a week, but i can not wait that long i am on my feet all day and now i can hardly stand on them they swell so much they feel like there goig to explode through my shoes. my dr took me off vytorin which i had no side effects from and put me on crestor with no warning of these side effects. I have been taking this drug dialy one tablet at night eversince I had to undergo angioplasty afer a sever heart attack.Now after three months developed severe back pain.The consulting phisician told me the new development is not due to the drug or connected to heart disorder but he did not give any explanation for backpain
