Severe abdominal pain after 2 days of taking. Also pain in sternum.

Worst medication I have ever taken. Day 12, I started having leg spasms. I quit taking it then but after 2 more weeks, I could barely get out of bed , chiropractor helped but not enough. Dr sent me to physical therapy, no help. After 5 months and more chiropractor treatments I was better but 2 more months before spasms were reduced to the point I could drive again. Now I have developed a myopathy which in turn, caused breast cancer.

Took this med for about a week, but stopped due to abdominal pain. On next dr visit, dr told me to again start taking it. 10 days later, I had a significant decrease in amount of urine, which made my BPH worse. Have stopped taking this drug, flow is better, but not back to my normal.

I managed my Cholesterol with this Drug three years back. Now after Covid Lockdown my Cholesterol and Triglycerides increased. I am managing it again with this drug.

Took ONE dose 10mg and now have severe indegestion, rash and hives. going on my 3rd day of this. had taken atorvastatin for several yrs. with on issues. hoping this will go away soon or ill check in to the ER.

I was put on 10mg and started right away my legs were cramping, I told dr and he told me only to take it 3x a day. I thought about it and decided not to change my dose and just take it everyday. After a few months I had gone on a cruise and tried walking up stairs and found it was so hard...omg I thought what the heck.. I have no strength. Even after that I still continued to take rosuvastatin. After 10 months on 10 mg a day I found I couldnâ??t get up from a chair without server pain. I went to see my dr and she told me to go see a rheumatoid arthritis dr. They did several test and I have RA. Rosuvastatin has ruined my life. Iâ??m 51 and feel like Iâ??m 90. Rosuvastatin significantly reduced my LDL cholesterol after using it for about 4 months, but I got pains in my thumb joints so I stopped taking it about 10 months ago. My joints are still bothering me so maybe it was just a coincidence that the problem started a few weeks after starting this drug. I've played video games most nights for about 15 years so maybe my thumbs are just getting arthritic, but I'm afraid of going back on the statin for fear of losing the use of my hands. If anyone else has experienced this I'd like to hear about it.Read More Read Less

All I have to say is this: 11/21/2019 Total: 286 HDL: 53 LDL: 214 Triglycerides:96 01/28/2020 Total: 180 HDL: 94 LDL: 71 Triglycerides:77 This has been a wonder drug for me.

I have had to stop taking this drug twice now. I had it reduced to 5mg even so, after a week or so I experience bad side effects. I get really dizzy and nauseous with bad muscle pain.

Refuse to take this medication. With a single dose I start having severe abdominal pain, can't stand up straight, guts feel like they're being twisted.

No significant reduction in HDL.

I have muscle and joint pain and feel disconnected mentally. Dry skin and dry mouth. I am stopping Rosuvastatin 10mg today and seeing my Dr.

Killed my dad's wife in 2 weeks, Dr didn't follow up with enzymes test. Her's went to 10,00 at 2nd time to hospital, should be 200. After 1 week hardly any strength and collapsed than taken to hospital. They didn't test enzymes 1st visit??? and sent her home in a day. She was back in hospital in 2 days with complete muscle failure. 3 days later was in hospice where she lasted 9 hours before passing. 2 weeks earlier was just fine. Also was off all meds for diabetics for a while now and under control and this caused a big sugar spike too.Read More Read Less

have been on for 2 mos. donated blood, cholesterol total went from 264 to 198. Added benefit: calcium. My nails have never been stronger, or looked better. Will continue with medication, and follow up with more bloodwork at 3 month The 1st few weeks, I felt like I was experiencing some side effects, (forgetting things) but I'm better now.

Nausea and stomach pain

Just 2 days after starting, horrible muscle pains from head to toes. it has been about a month now and the pains persist in spite of pain killers. Also very weak all the time. My hands and feet go numb constantly.

After just three weeks on this stuff I've experienced sever back problems, confusion and short term memory loss, numbness in my hands and acute ringing in my ears. Yes, my cholesterol went down from 178 to 140, but now I can't exercise because of the pain. This stuff is poison...use at your own risk!

Extreme, debilitating joint pain!
