Had a MAJOR wisdom tooth infection like i have never felt before! My wife had extra Tylenol 3 w/codeine and I figured it would subside the pain until i could take care of it. Boy was i wrong !!! I bought every over the counter medicine i could find - nothing worked! DIDNT EVEN TOUCH IT !!! I got my hands on Tramadol - knocked it out completely for about 2-3 hours but would come back. Took so much ...

In my past, I'd been to a pain management Doctor. First was 3 sets of injections, then acetomenaphine, tylenol 3 with codeine, and hydrocodone. Then a temporary nerve stimulator. The only thing to help my pain was hydrocodone. Recently I injured my knee. I went to an orthopedic specialist who called in again tylenol with codeine. I told her this did nothing for me. Then she called in acetomenaphine 600mg. I explained I'd already tried all these drugs, including tramadol and the only thing to work for me was hydrocodone. I was told by the nurse, if she gave me that, she wouldn't give me anything after my surgery!!! I asked what I was suppose to do? She said, pick up the meds she called in for you. If I know they don't work, why waste my money. She said, pick them up and hung up. I called back and said if they don't work then what? She literally said to call back and they call the hydrocodone in. Seriously? They called in both the acetemenaphine 600mg AND the tylenol with codeine. Both these drugs are useless for me! Always have been. It's like taking an advil, it does NOTHING!!! Not sure why they even prescribe it?Read More Read Less

Not sure if it contains codeine at all in view of non response. Or if it does it is not bioequivalent.

does nothing for hip bursitis OR lower back and sciatica pain. this is NOT effective as tylenol #4 or #3. ibuprofen works better but upsets my stomach . while i agree about opiate addiction sometimes the regulation is OVER KILL and hurts those who need meds. allow me as a responsible adult to have #4

Prescribed for herniated disc and sciatic nerve pain. Takes about an hour for this medication to kick in, it lasts for a short time and just barely takes the edge of the pain. If other products we purchase (electronics, cars, etc.) performed this poorly, the company that makes them would be out of business.

This drug makes it possible for me to sleep on a regular basis. l've been taking the same dosage for over 20 years, and it's still very effective. My only issue is with the price. I used to be able to get it for $40 a month, now it's over $100 a mmonth.

Did absolutely nothing for pain relief. I was told that 300-30mg was a strong dose. I took a fall and had deep brush burns on knee and 2 on foot. All 3 were infected. This didn't even take the sting away. Don't use, no sense to put a drug in your body that doesn't work

This particular brand (generic-Teva) does nothing...almost as if there is no pain reliever in it. I had 2 left of a previous script from generic-Vintage. I take this medication daily and when I took the 2 Vantage after 2 weeks of Teva, I could completely totally tell the difference. Almost like the Teva pills were counterfeit.

I am unable to take NSAIDS and my doctor won't prescribe anything stronger than this RX. I have severe Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis of the hands feet spine pelvis. It barely does anything at all.

I was prescribed this medication for the pain related to three cracked vertebra. Two 325 mg aspirin is more effective. For me, this medication is totally ineffective.
