I ended up in the hospital with a severe reaction. It lowered my blood pressure, I was weak, vomitting,I was unable to eat or hold food down, felt unstable to walk. Just felt like my life was slipping away with every time I was given the medication. I was on it for three days and against my physicians premission, decline to take it and sort a second opinion. Although it came back a few months later and after testing I found out it is actually something called angular cheilitis. Which is a bacterial and fungal infection and gentamicin is only for bacteria infections.Read More Read Less

Thank God I did, because it save my life. I was diagnois with having a severe drug reaction to Gentamicin.
