I started with 50mcg in October and was re-tested in Feb. and bumped up to 75mcg. The Dr. said it takes about 6 weeks for your body to get accustomed to the med. It does get better after time. Short waves of nervousness/anxiety, but I know that will pass and I'm scheduled to be re-tested next week. :)

My fingers and feet are slightly puffy and I am feeling less energy especially when I exercise. I know this is not the right dosage for me.I hope it will level out at some point because I am ... Have been on 50 mcg for 4 months; TSH levels dramatically improved within first 3 months; still dealing abnormal menstrual periods[somewhat continuous bleeding]; no weight problems; no loss of hair; slight increase of energy; slight increase of dull headaches which start in the middle of the night. Overall, results have been positive. Negatively, without insurance, I have to pay out-of-pocket and ... Show Full Comment
