achy muscles, joints and calf cramps. Also some itching after taking of face, neck and back.

On no statin my TC was 254 on 20mg PS TC dropped to 209. HDL went from 59 to 49 and my LDL went from 177 to 135. But the worse was that the TriC's went from 90to 126! This is the third statin I've been on. The side affects started gradually with an increase in heartburn/indigestion. Then pain in my hips and legs also started appearing. My horror story lasted for 3+ years with this medication. Prior to using this medication I was and still am an avid tennis player and teacher. Approx 5 years ago I was put on this medication. Crestor, Lipitor, Simvistatin and Lovestatin. I developed almost immediately tremendour joint pain in my back, legs and arms. Since starting this medication about 3 weeks ago I have had several problems that I never had before. the symptoms I have been having are constipation, bloating, fatigue, depression, dizziness,lots of headaches and have been sweating a lot. I am a 51 year old male who has been diagnosed with High Cholesterol. I exercise regularly including 30 minutes of aerobic activity every other day and sometimes I will do another 30 minutes if I have a day off.
