After 3 weeks on Paxil, I think I feel as though my mood is beginning to "even out." Not so many extreme lows. Still waiting to see the longer term effects. Just wondering....has anyone experienced sensitivity with their teeth to hot or cold foods? Seems like I have an extreme sensitivity to cold liquids since beginning this medication. It works fine, with a very slightly euphoric sensation after the first 2-3 weeks which goes away in a few months or less. Initial inability to climax during intercourse (men and women) fades after several months. Only real problem is that quitting is REALLY hard. good Only I am concerned about the long term effect. And how do I stop taking Paxil with safety? I am no longer depressed or grumpy. Thank you. Duck

It is an amazing drug. Has lifted my spirits. I can eat again, as I had no desire to eat. Just ate because I had to. I am able to sleep normally again. Gave me a better outlook on life. Thank you

I have only been on the drug for about 3 weeks now but I am already beginning to see a benefit. I have not had as many panic attacks and the ones I have had are not as severe. Also, my depression has been more manageable. Dealing with the daily things that cause me stress are easier to deal with as well.
