Only been on it for 1 week so far. getting the job done. only pee onece a night, also flow is much stronger. Most side effects have gone away. A little light headed during the daytime.

I have been taking Terazosin for high bp for maybe 6-7 yrs, but it still goes up & down. Now I have developed kidney disease, & feel this has attributed to it. I have a medical book that has it on a "dangerous" FDA watch list! I would be very hesitant about starting on this drug for a long period.

Had an allergic reaction to this drug. After a couple days a rash broke out on my arms and lower legs (below the knee), and had the urge to urinate about every 15 minutes. Stopped taking drug and urination problems went away but still have rash. Have to go to a dermatologist.

This was an alternate drug from Flomax that I have an allergic reaction to. I'm not impressed by this drug. I don't get up during the night but the feeling of a full bladder is very different. Erectile problems are a nuisance.

Take terazosin for BPH and my bood pressure dropped to low. Felt dizzy, lightheaded and tired. Looked into alternative, Saw Palmetto, Pygeun afuricanum, which French give patients for BPH and does show signs of shrinking prostate. Happy with no side affect, have to take 3 times daily though with meals. Get a good brand like Prostavar RX rated very high and includes Beta Sitosterol. Takes 10 to 20 days before results.

I was taking a 2mg capsule once a day at night. Over 6 months I experienced two episodes of severe weakness to the point of fainting. Weakness persisted for about a week after I stopped taking the drug. I have continued my morning meds: Atacand HCT 32/12.5 and atenolol 25mg. Blood pressure has varied from 110/50 to 180/100.

Have been on terazosin a couple of years at 10mg to treat blood press. and prostate issues, the side effects are in the sexual function area erections are near impossible and when able to produce semen there is very little and is reddish in color, must be blood!

Easier to urinate, does not effect ejaculation or erection as some other drugs do. Sometimes getting a little short of breath and dizzy is the main side effect, overall I'm pleased with it.

I switched from Rapaflo that prevented me from ejaculating. Now have hard erection and good ejaculation. So far real good results.

Took a preparation H suppository in the evening, got up at night and could barely stand from low blood pressure. Almost called 911.

I did not have an enlarged prostate. I had a small prostate and prostate cancer. Had Brachy therapy done. Then the doctor prescribe this stuff and after the end of 6 months, the prescript stops. So, unsure of why I had to take it.
