Dr gave me a shot of this and Rocephin during the worst case of acute sinusitis I've ever experienced. Within a couple of hours the pain went away. Of course, I have to follow up with other medications, but that initial shot gave my body the relief it needed.

I have been on this treatment for one week. It is like the med. goes on like a bandaid and then the item is placed on and it will beep in three minutes and then I have to have it on for two hours...

I have severe backpain when standing or walking past 6 to 10 minutes. I was given dexamethasone injection 4mgs believe also with depo medrol. I have only gotten the shots twice now within a few months. Ive gained 40 pounds and have edema in my legs now. Idk why, the only thing that id done differently is those shots. So im not sure if its from it but ive read its a possibility. My pan subsided a bit but not enough to keep getting it if its causing weight and water gain. I was at 225 when i got the first shot and now im at 264 and my weight is making my back hurt more i believe. When i first got it i started excercise and modified my diet and still gained weight. Im going back to my dr soon to disscuss this further. Read More Read Less

The day after the injections I started feeling dizzy for more than a week and experienced fast heart beat and low potassium. I visited the ER.

Administered with chemo - carboplatin and etopocide - and had no reaction except an overall feeling better and increase in appetite. This is only day one, but good so far. I'd been losing a lot of weight, and ate more today than in a long time.

I was injected with 1cc of 10mg of this substance along with Lidocaine, Mercaine and Omnipak at my cervical facet joints C-4,5,6 on Sept. 16, 2015 and less than 24 hrs later had the most horrific hot flush in my face not even cold packs would help. They actually made my face hotter. I finally packed it in Nivea cream so it wouldn't crack. This went on for over 24hrs.My muscle spasms worsened and of course the pain. Into the 7th day I was waking and finding that my whole body was feeling warm to the touch and it continues on and off. And to top things off my doctor wouldn't return my call! When he finally did I was out shopping and got so emotionally upset I couldn't answer my cell phone. I added the 2 substances to my allergy list since I couldn't tell if it was the Omnipak or the Dexamethesone. Please be careful and ASK ahead of time what your doctor will be using and research it. I found this site most helpful and now I can keep track of my meds and their possible interactions. That's a very valuable thing for me. Read More Read Less

I had this injection to relieve pain in my back. I had compressed fractions. This shot did nothing to ease the pain. Useless!

I had severe allergy and heavy rashes on my face. It was so bad that the skin around my jaw was so tight because of the rashes. I had pain and was unable to move my jaws. It was paining. Just one shot of this injection through iv did the magic. Though the rashes have not gone completely, I am free to move my jaws, have water, food comfortably within 2 hours after the injection. It worked very well for me

I have been painfully suffering from sciatica for over 2 weeks. Anti-inflammatory drug, exercise, heat, ice - nothing brought relief. Dr. injected 1MG intramuscularly and total relief occurred within 2 hours. MRI and tramadol and methylpred Rx begin tomorrow. Oh to wake up pain free - one can hope .

Got an ijection 2 weeks ago and one last week. Cleared the plaques brought on by that CRAP Bisoprolol.Went yeasterday and got a new version that is monthly called Alin Depot. Sorry. It's not available in The Great Satan®. They want to see you every week so they can charge you or your insurance up the pooter and make you sicker so they can sell you something else. Cost me $22 at the farmacia. The doc and injecting was free since I bought the meds there. God Bless America a,d F the un-knighted states of Empire.Read More Read Less

I have Steven's Johnson Syndrome, and I use this,Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate, along with depo-medrol . I have to have the injection with in 24 hrs of the first symptom of the SJS. What I have to do is mix 1 cc. of each into a syringe, so a total of 2 cc's my first initial dose. Then I have to take the 1 cc of the Dexamethasone 2X a day for 5 days. This will stop the Stevens Johnson syndrome from spreading throughout my system, but what damages is done by the time I take it, is done. I hope this helps someone out there that has SJS, it is a very painful event when it flares up and I am so thankful I found a doctor that knew a lot about SJS and could do studies on me to find out what medications can subside the syndrome.Read More Read Less
