I am not positive but I think I developed an allergic reaction to this cream--my skin blistered shortly after using it.

I used this on a rash (that I was told was psoraisis) after MULTIPLE other creams (hydrocortisone, calamine lotion, anti fungals (both for athlete's foot and also ringworm), steroid creams, anti biotic creams, vitamin D cream (to reduce excess skin buildup on the rash) and after all of that... I tried the Benadryl cream and it has been the ONLY thing to provide me ANY relief.

DO NOT use this medication to treat poison ivy or oak. My dr says it should not be used at all. I have been suffering from blistered sun sensitivy arms since May exposure to both as a result of using topical benadryl. Have had two oral predisone and am now on topical predisone to cope with the problem. Had never had poison ivy since 4yr old. Should never have applied the benadryl topical to relive itch as it just caused it to get worse. Thinking that the poision ivy was worsening would reapply more compounding the problem. The label lists it as a treatment for these conditions.Read More Read Less
