Beware of the side effects when you decide to stop taking this drug. I had the weidest sensation that I could not explain until I search the web & found other patient's describing withdrawalsas "BRAIN SHIVERS" - that is exactly how it felt & it went on for weeks after I weaned myself off. NEVER will take this one again!

I have found that I feel more centered, calm and peaceful as a result of taking Lexapro. I am very satisfied with the results. And, since I take the medication at night, I sleep more soundly and awaken refreshed and rested.

I experienced Limited effectiveness for treating my depression. Showed signs of major improvement but still struggling with reoccurrences of major depression.

I was taking Effexor, but had to stop because of extreme hypertension and pulse rate. I take Wellbutrin with Lexapro, and it has totally changed my mood. The combination of these medications make it possible to look forward to the future, instead of dreading it.
