I am an adult male who was diagnosed this past summer. I have been taking this for about 3 months at 5mg twice a day. I haven't had a chance to check in with my physician, but the mess seem hit or miss. When it works, I really feel I can actually be productive and successful. I wonder if when I talk to my doctor if we will look at other mess or increase my dosage.

My question for other reviewers is how extensive was the testing before you were diagnosed with ADHD? This is for adults in particular. My prescribing psychiatrist gave me a short list of statements to rate (maybe six to eight) and on that alone she prescribed what to me is a powerful drug. It's not as if she's an expert in this field. I'm beginning to think she's not a very good p ... Show Full Comment

This was a miracle drug for me. Before I started taking it, I was pretty much at wit's end. Finally was diagnosed with ADHD, after going through dozens of doctors. Immediately, it changed my world. I could actually focus, concentrate, and complete a task.Impossible before. I doubt I would have kept my job if I didnt start the med when I did. Pre-Adderal...anxiety, frustration, mind always go ... Show Full Comment

My son just started a few months ago on Adderall 15mg, before he his doctor tried many other drugs but nothing seemed to work. Since he has been on this medication he can stay focused at school and home. His sleeping is fine, the only problem is getting him to eat!! But I found pedia sure helps him balance a healthier diet.

I was diagnosed with Adult ADD at age fifty. Adderall is an important part of my treatment regimen which includes cognitive therapies, a healthy diet and lots of exercise.
