i have been taking sulfasalazine oral for a number of years and it works for me, it does not seem to have lost it's effectiveness. alot of tablets did not agree with me but these seem to - the ones i take disolve in the bowel so do not upset my stomach. i have to have a blood test every month but it is a small price to pay compared to how i felt before taking the sulfasalazine. i still swell if the weather is bad but my joints are not deformed and although i am unable to work i can lead a normalish sort of life for a disabled person! my pain is mostly controlled if not i take pain killers too.Read More Read Less
