I have recently started taking Microgestin, and so far I am not convinced that this birth control is fit for me. I am 5'3 and only 103 pounds so the dosage of the birth control may be too strong for my body's liking. I was on Microgestin for a year and 4 months. For some reason my doctor prescribed Gildess the past two months and its been terrible. Id say overall for me personally, Microgestin is a winner. Its very effective in the birth control area which unfortunately means my fun parts have been alittle dry since being on Microgestin. I have been taking microgestin for little over 3 months now and I am pleased with it. My periods are light and almost non-existent. No cramps, only some mild cramping a couple days before my period. My appetite increased and bit but I'm not worried about that. No ugly side effects besides that my sex drive has sky rocketed and I'm moody sometimes. Its VERY effective for preventing pregnanc ...
