I have been taking both the liquid and tablet of this prescription medicine (sucralfate). The tablet version is 1/3 the cost of the liquid. I have also reduced the coughing up of phlem over last 11-12 months, even after reducing to a 1/2 tablet 4x per day. There is seldom coughing during morning and afternoon hours; most coughing occurs either at or near supper time (6:00 P.M.) and when ready to go to bed (10:00 P.M.).
