The frequency of taking this medication (4X daily) is very difficult to follow. I've been taking it for 2 weeks (twice daily) and have not had any side effects from it. My reflux and post GB surgery related problems have eased considerably. I recommend this medication.

My dr.'s partner put me on an antibiotic & I got so nauseated, I felt like puking ALL the time. My dr. says it has probably caused ulcers and he has put me on Sucralfate. He has me disolve 2 in milk (so they work faster) twice daily. I have only been on it for a week, but I haven't seen too much improvement yet. He said it should help gradually over three weeks. I am really hoping so.

I have bile reflux from stomach surgery. It took about 10 days before the full effect was felt. After that relief! It's a bit difficult to juggle the dosage, but worth it.

It seems to be working, a little chalky to eat and hard to swallow. Missed taking it one day until 6pm and was in excrutiating pain in intestines until a pill was taken. I will follow up with doctor..I think when I am done treatment I may need to be weaned from it.

Very hard to swallow, I chew up the pills which taste terrible. I don't know if they are doing any good or not. Hard to tell, but I do experience nausea when eating. Trying to take this four times a day and between all other medications is not possible. It leaves no time to eat regular meals and snd still take other medications separatesly one hour before two hours after eating. Taking one of these every four hours is impossible for me.

It has helped, but I have to take it 4 times a day and that is really difficult to do sometimes. Other than that, I would recommend it.

The drug can be cut in half if it is too big to swallow. A possible side effect is slight nausea, but not as bad as the nausea from a stomach ulcer.

After having my Gall Bladder removed I had issues with Diarhea, which was due to my Liver spilling bile out into my digestive tract. It took about 3 weeks to figure out when to take the pills, but I got it down to 1 in the morning and 1 about 1 hour before lunch. Eating dinner does not bother me. Regarding the pill, it is hard to swallow but I usually break them in half or just jew the entire pill and swallow.

I have taken this drug for approx. one week and find the tablets very hard to swallow since they are large and have a chalk-like coating. My cough has lessoned is just a week's time. I do sometimes have slight stomach discomfort immediately after ingestion which will last for only a few moments. Taking this drug approx. one hour before bedtime has allowed me to sleep through most of the night without episode of reflux.
