It worked great for stomach cramps as long as I took 30 min in advance. But it dehydrated me severely so that I had to drink water constantly. Then it made my neuropathy so much worse that my feet were numb and swollen. So I had to stop taking this. I am going to try one pill a day to reduce side effects.

I just started taking this yesterday for IBS.. so far the extreme cramping seems to be letting up. The first time I took it, it made me feel as if I had been drinking alcohol; sort of like when you are sedated for a medical procedure. I did not like that feeling. The medication has worked great. I have had way less episodes of IBS. This drug also is wonderful for cramps from my monthly period.

IT makes me sleepy all the time and it did not help with my irritable bowel syndrome.
