I was very depressed for about 10 months. Just started meds and didn't notice any change in mood for 1 & 1/2 weeks. Its been a month now and i wish i felt a little better but definitely better then when i started. Only side effect noticeable is dry mouth.

This drug is very effective for treating my depression. HOWEVER, the withdrawal effects are HORRIBLE. Whenever I have accidentally forgotten to take a dose, one of the first things I experience is what could best be described as an "electric pulse" going up the back of my neck to the base of my skull. my heart rate is high. my blood pressure is high, i have numbness. blurred vision, tired and many more bad symptoms

Has worked very well for my depression. It has caused a decrease in my sexual desire and has caused a problem with being able to ejaculate during sexual intercourse.

Since I retired I have started this medication,for approx 1 year. Now I would like to discontinue but fear stopping suddenly. Please advise.
