Eye pain and headache side-effects dramatically decrease after a week or two. Only drug with min side-effects that works on my eye pressure. Recommended for athletes with Glaucoma

Punctal occlusion eases the side effects to almost none. I increased slowly to 4% four times a day. I did not drive at night while on the drug. Unfortunately, it only lowered my pressure for a couple of months. I was on this drug along with Lumigan, twice a day; Cosopt, three times a day; and Alphagan P also three times a day. In addition, I took the oral medication, Neptazine.

Doctor prescribes 3 drop a day on each eye. I could only do two days. Horrible side effects, pain in the eyes, headache for several hours after each application. Could not drive. Terrible feeling of general malaise.

I have chronic open angled Glaucoma and Im on these drops because nothing else has worked. They work well but the headaches, eye pain, nausea are awful. Not to mention i cant see much at all for over an hour after I take them. I take them 4x daily and it makes working and commuting difficult... but they work so..I cant complain.

When I first started using this medication I had unbearable headaches. The doctor increased my use from once a day to three times a day and the headaches went away.

My first experience was horrible. I have never suffered from headaches & this one made me not want to use the eye drops anytime soon.My heart rate increased, I thought the side effects would never go away. After they passed I was able to see at night which before the drops I couldn't. I'm afraid to try it again. To painful.

The minute the drug was instilled in my eyes, I had a severe headache and my eyes burned and I could not see to drive home from the eye doctors office - but within minutes the pressue in my eyes came down from 40 to 12 - but the headache was terrible - felt nauseated - I never have headaches - this was excrusciating .

I dont know yet if the pain from the drops is worth the results of my pupil decreasing in size. I've only been on the drops for 1 day but the pupil has gone back down to normal size. I don't know if it will remain that way once the drops are stopped.
