I went to my doctor and asked for something to help me with weight lose. I mentioned that even after eating a good side meal, I'd be hungry again within an hour. Also mentioned that I've tried so many diets and exercises that it just doesn't keep me from being hungry. So he prescribed me phentermine orally. I have been on it for about a month, and I have lost 20 lbs. and I've incor ... Show Full Comment

First, I thought this drug was for Obese. Anyone under 160 is not obese if they are a normal height. I started on the low dose in Oct and my appetite decreased, one thing I was looking for. After one month, I went to the middle dose. After 3.5 months I've lost 15 lbs, a rate I find most effective. I started taking these in August 21,2014. I've lost 25 lbs no side effects and Iam very pleased with the results so far. Taking these pills has changed my way of eating, I crave fruit and veggies over salty greasy foods. It's made me a lot more aware of what I used to eat.

After 30 days, I have lost 10 pounds on phentermine and topamax. This combo was prescribed to curb the weight gain I experienced after my thyroid ablation turned the hungry on. Some days I still get hungry, but not often. I've been eating a lot of fruits and veggies before hitting the gym 3 times a week. Two side effects: 1. I wake up at 4:30 in the morning like my Grandfather. 2. My Coke Z ... Show Full Comment

I have had about 4 refills now of this medication. First let me say that if you go to Goodrx .com it will give you a coupon that works every time. Second-I felt it has worked very well for me. No problems. As a matter of fact, I think for the first month it boosted my attitude a bit. It felt like someone had cleaned off my glasses for me. Third-I have lost about 25 lbs. without trying what ... Show Full Comment
