i have taken this medication before did not lose any weight tried again on my first month last few days on the pill have not lost one pound I did cut back on everything i ate candy chips fast food and junk food could not excercise because of a bad knee and ankle doctor said he will only prescribe this if i lose weight how is everyone losing weight and i cant lose a pound? what is the secret? I have been on phentermine for two months and have lost 20 pounds. I started at 250lbs and am down to 230lbs.My side effects are very minimal and out weight the cons of being significantly obese. I only plan to stay on it until i reach 200lbs and do the rest on my own.I would really stress learning all you can about this diet pill before using it. I get severe drymouth/chapped lips when I take this. I typically take it 4 days in a row, then give myself a 2-3 day break, then take again for several days. It does curb my appetite somewhat.

The only thing that was really bothersome was depression but it was a day that I didn't eat a yogurt for breakfast once I got something in my belly the depression went away. Dry mouth was tolerable.

Started taking drug after a complete thyroidectomy & post-surgery medication issue. No matter what I did (stringently monitored food intake, substantially increased activity, etc.), could not take weight off.
