I have been taking it for about 3 months now and have stuck with weight watchers (she told me to stay with them for the healthy eating habits they teach) in that time I have lost almost 25 lbs - my goal was to w ... After losing 30 lbs completing a fitness bootcamp last year; I have since gained all my weight back +10 lbs. I completed a trial of Belviq and filled a prescription for it (very expensive) but stopped using it because of it's ineffectiveness of curbing my appetite and constant headache. I am 40, 5'2" and 161 lbs. I work out regularly and have an active job. In taking this med I was looking to curb my appetite and speed up my metabolism. My goal weight is 135. I have only been on the medication for 3 days and I can hardly believe how little I think about food and how much energy I have. So far the only side effect I have is dry mouth. Because of it I am drinking tons ... Show Full Comment

Have been on pills for a little over two weeks. Lost about 14 lbs. Very few side effects. None that are too bothersome. I really don't feel the pill that much anymore. My experience so far is very positive. It does make it easier to not eat dessert one day at a time.
