Since beginning treatment for DVT, I have had continuing problems with diarrhea. I follow all guidelines and am regulary monitored by my physician and am within recommended levels for INR. I have discussed with my physician and other care providers but feel that I am "blown off" with my concerns. There are now a number of my family members on anticoagulant therapy and we all have the samne problem. What is going on? I never had this difficulty prior to my DVT diagnosdis and subsequent therapy. It is a serious life stye concern. Help!!!Read More Read Less

Started on 5 mm and then to 6 mm and now on 7mm.. Now I get light headed when moving around.. It started after I went to 7 MM... My blood is 1.5 and they want it at 2-3....

Can I have meals contains MSG while taking this medication?

On this for 8 weeks and still can't get the right dose. I am very tired and my joints and muscles hurt all the time. No one seems to want to address this. I developed this clot after a heart cath which I hope to never do again. I was the 1 in a 1000 this happened too. The most painful thing I have ever experienced. I hope you never go thru that.

Started off on 1 coumadin per day, with a 1.6 INR, doctor told me to increase it to 2 pills a day

I was given Coumadin oral in the hospital because of afib. I stay dizzy, kinda disoriented at times, swelling, bloated, just to name some of my side effects. I don't like this drug because I can feel the changes in my body.

it has worked very well for me. My home moniter is great for keeping track of levels.

I HAVE 2 MECHANICAL HEART VALVES, A MAZE TRICUSPIT REPAIR DUE TO RHEMATIC FEVER AS A CHILD. I have a stent in my cartoid artery in my neck, was taking plavix, went back to dr for test, was told my stent shut down, no bring it back so i am only have blood flow to one side of my neck to my brain, he put me on comundin for life taking 2 5mg pills a day. would like to have advice from anyone on this?

my dr. is now suspended from practice in his later 80s ive been on coumindin since 2003 even my phlebotimist said to me it was like taking rat poison you tell me? Now what are my chances I didnt ask for this hereditary condition? Be honest if you dare. What else are my options?
