Was prescribed this by an ER doc after a bee sting got infected. Certainly cleared the infection up quickly, but the side effects were horrible. Constipation, severe headache, swollen glands, and eventually a full-body rash and fever. Ended up going to my regular doc who had to give me a shot of cortizone to calm the inflamation. All symptoms disappeared within 1.5 days of stopping antibiotic.

Do not take this drug!! If you doctor prescribes this for a bacterial infection, immediately ask for something else. It can kill you! It almost killed me!!

I was literally in the bed for two weeks. Other antibiotics did not work and I was getting worse. The Dr. put me on this antibiotic and I went from not being able to get out of bed to being able to move around and actually believe there was an end in site for this plerisy that had turned into pneumonia. I am prone to bronchial problems and you can bet the next time I have a flare up I will be asking for this medication.

Used for suspicion of MRSA. After only two days of using this medicine, I became super weak and tired. I also became very dizzy and sick to my stomach. I was so dizzy at one point, that I even fell down. I stopped taking this medicine because I tested negative for MRSA.

I have also been taking - Atenol 50mg. and Hydrochlorotiazise 50mg. for high blood pressure along with Celebrex for rhumtoind arthritis. I worry about these combinations but my doctors said the the risk is worth the gain since all drugs have some dangerous side effects.
