Perscibed for a uti, I took 2 as prescribed, I had an allergic reaction felt very lethargic neck pain and head pain dizzy light-headed and nauseous, call the doctor he had me stop it and I was prescribed a new medication I will never take this medication again or advise anyone else to take this there are plenty of antibiotics out there stay away from this one

Taking this 4 days now for Diverticulitis, instead of Cipro. Cipro was linked to my Achilles rupture.

I am on the 8th day of a 10 day treatment for badly infected insect bite. The medicine really worked well. It is almost completely cleared up. The side effects however are really bad. I've had back pains, fatigue, headaches and trouble falling asleep. I may skip the last few pills.

It worked but I won't take it again. I had extreme nausea and total loss of appetite the entire five days I took it. I've taken other antibiotics for UTI that did not have adverse affects and not sure why I was given this considering possible side effects.

I actually have tolerated this drug well. I have GI problems and this seems to cause me less stomach upset then some other drugs. Yes I feel somewhat nauseous and loss of appetite --- but nothing compared to what I have felt on other drugs.

I had a UTI and my doctor prescribed this medication for me. It worked like a charm! Within the first 2 days, all the burning went away. Although, it does hurt my stomach a little bit the first 5 minutes or so of taking it. But overall a great medicine, and I recommend it if your doctor gives it to you!

When first prescribed I took the medication for 10 days and side effects weren't to bad, little bit of nausea, little bit of dizziness, and really tired (no energy). Then my Doctor extended my prescription for another 21 days, I have 3 to go, and during this time my side effects have increased to include, flue like symptoms (cold chills and then hot flashes), very tired all the time.

I was prescribed this treatment for 10 days. Within 24 hours of taking it, i developed diarrhea and loss of appetite, but no other sypmtoms and my skin infection started to clear quickly. however in 5 days, i got a severe hives-like rash all over my body, which by the evening developed into a full blown fever, headache and drowsiness. Its now 48 hours since i stopped taking it and i still have the rash.

I fell over paddle boards and tore up my leg. Infection set in and I couldn't stand the pain so I finally went to the doctor. Started my prescription and took 3 the first day. Woke up this morning and was amazed at how quickly this medication worked. I am on the mend.

I was prescribed this for a UTI, 1 pill 2x a day for 3 days. Within 2 hours of taking the first pill I started to feel better. The second day I did have less of an appetite. Overall I am completely satistfied.

This medication has made me extremely dizzy to the point I almost passed out while eating. Also, headache, body aches worse than before taking, weird dreams, completely fatigued, depressed, feeling like something is "caught" in my throat, nausea, lack of appetite, and trouble focusing on anything, even a tv show. I pray to God I NEVER have to take this again. Also, my vision has been affected terribly. Eyes are irritated and blurry with all kinds of spots floating in them. This medicine is not worth the side effects! It has brought my life to a screeching halt and I'm not even halfway through the prescription yet. I suggest you do NOT take it.Read More Read Less

No side effects, worked quickly and felt better with 12 hours of first dose.

I was given 3 days of taking this drug for UTI and I am at the end of day 2, so far I have no side effects at all.

The doctor prescribed this medication to help prevent pneumonia. Well, it did that, but I got an awful rash on my feet, legs, arms, and back three months ago because of it. I have tried every remedy possible to get rid of this itchy rash, and nothing has worked. I never would have taken this medication if I had known that I was going to have to deal with this rash - I'd rather deal with pneumonia that this!

I recently have had Staph Infection MRSA. I have 2 tablets left and my infection is clearing up. Since I started taking this 5 days ago my sleep patterns are messed up. I usually have had no problems going to sleep, but the last 5 days I am having a very difficult time getting to sleep. I also have had a dull headache while taking this.

I was prescribed this medicine to treat a uti, I had horrible side effects ranging from severe persistent headaches, fever, gland swellings, my eyes are swollen, and today on the 6th day I woke up with a rash all over my body. I'm going to the er now and refuse yo continue my medication. It has been miserable :/

After being on this antibiotic about the 5th ad sixth day,I was light headed and had dizzyness when I got up. I also had no appetite and felt very fatiqued! Took three days to feel normal again. Will not take this antibiotic again. I felt irritable and verydoepd up! Redid the lab test and I stil lhad the e coli bacteria! My Docotr prescribed another type antibiotic seemed to ork ok.

WILL NEVER TAKE THIS DRUG AGAIN!! ALLEGIC REACTION ITCHING ALL OVER BODY/HEAD, FEVER, SORE THROAT. SWELLING ETC, JUST FROM ONE PILL.
